To be fair, if i were a Rimworld pawn, i'd still choose the Pemmican over raw uncooked rice :') Though, im glad you still cooked the pemmican, safety over authenticity i'd say. Still, damn that fine meal looks nice...
As I understand it, you're right; you dry the beef (traditionally in the sun), grind the meat and berries down to a powder-like consistency, and melt the suet (fat) and pour it over the powdered mixture to bind it all together. Spencer thought the meat looked a bit too pink before we grinded it, so he threw it in the oven for a short period, which is obviously not consistent with the recipe we used, but, between you and me, he was probably going to hate it regardless of how accurately we prepared it lol
