Thank you for showing us how to use the UVC to HDMI converter and the new idea! 🤩

Great demonstration. Can you tell me whether this converter allows you to set the resolution (i.e. 1080p) and the framerate of the connected webcam (i.e. 24, 25, 29.97 fps) via EDID or similar protocol? Thank you.
Hi there. Is it possible to use a wireless hdmi transmitter with this adapter so that i can send the converted hdmi signal through the wireless transmitter?
You could but it would add additional delay on top of the delay that’s already occurring when the UVC signal is converted to HDMI. It might be a full second of delay by the time the signal hits your switcher.
Yes, one per camera would be needed. Keep in mind there's a slight delay though so you'll need to adjust your audio accordingly. The conversion process isn't lag-free.
@@zephanmoses Gotcha. Wouldn't really matter because it's for a pool stream. That being said the price of the converter plus the camera puts it in the range of a cheap DSLR like a A5100. Think I'll just keep looking for those used...cheers brother
@@HereAfterBilliards check out a used Sony ZVE10 since the mark 2 is out there should be more floating around. They were like $599 brand new for the body so should be cheaper now.
Hey Zephan, thanks so much for your insights. I have an HDMI to HDMI mini converter cable connecting my obsbot and my atem switcher. I switch between 3 cameras. I have a similar delay running the feed from the Obsbot Tail Air into OBS. I use the bluetooth obsbot remote control. I'm getting good results. Is there a reason to utilize the obsbot uvc to hdmi converter?
@@kingofthecampus so it sounds like you have devices going into an atem switcher and then additionally you’re switching in an Obsbot that’s directly connected to the computer? I don’t see why that wouldn’t work out just fine it’s just pulling your attention in a lot of directions between managing an atem, OBS and the camera feed but if it works for you that’s great.
Could you use a splitter at the atem mini usb c, one side of the split going to computer for zoom streaming, one side of the split going to the osbot hdmi converter?
Is it possible to connect multiple OBSBot Cameras to the ATEM via these USB to HDMI converters and still have OSC Control of them? We would like to be able to move the PTZ Cameras remotely
Hi, there! I recently bought this camera but the quality of my image is very poor, even recording in 4K. Do you have any setup tip to gave me? I saw that you also have a grain but the color of your video is beautiful.
Hey Caroline! If you're noticing poor quality, typically this is from bad lighting. What does your lighting setup look like? Smaller cameras need a lot of light to produce a good image.
@@conectatj7876 you can but since they each have delay they might be slightly off and it’ll be expensive buying each of the UVC converters. Might make more sense to just invest in regular cameras.
@@zephanmoses oh nice, now the other question is, since that web cam does have a remote like the one you showed here will the tracking work via the hand gestures.
@@zephanmoses Thanks. It would be useful to know if the Osbot remote control will control pan and zoom on the Insta360 Camera when used with the Osbot usb to HDMI converter. I'm also interested in the amount of fan noise - and how far I would need to place it from my mic to avoid fan noise being recorded - under the desk perhaps ?
@@chrisdelcan2757 I highly doubt Obsbot would control something other than an Obsbot. Regarding fan noise I’d want at least 5 feet away from a microphone.

Hi. I have a question can you connect insta360 link with obsbot hdmi adapter and obsbot remote with yolobox pro? Thanks
Pretty much any UVC camera should be fine but your mileage may vary.

Can you also do a video testing if OBSBot Tiny would work with YoloBos Mini. Thanks.
Sorry I don't have a Yolobox Mini
Could you use a splitter at the atem mini usb c, one side of the split going to computer for zoom streaming, one side of the split going to the osbot hdmi converter?
No the usb-c port provides a signal that cannot be split. It’s not the same as a regular data signal. It is a UVC signal (video).
will the remote worrk for other brand cameras that are similar example the insta 360 link
I don't think so. I believe this remote is specific to the Obsbot.
Is it possible to connect multiple OBSBot Cameras to the ATEM via these USB to HDMI converters and still have OSC Control of them? We would like to be able to move the PTZ Cameras remotely
I’m not familiar with controlling them remotely but I don’t see a limitation in connecting them to an atem.
Hi Zeph can you share how to control the output resolution to say 1080 from a 4k camera
It was plug and play for me but I recommend plugging the camera into a computer and using the Obsbot software first to get your settings right.
Thanks Zeph
Do I need to buy the OBSBOT UVC to HDMI adapter? Or can I use any other (cheaper) adapter?
I can’t speak as to how other adapters will work with the Obsbot as I have not tested any others.

Yes that is what I do in this video.

for me, the delay is very bad, and i dont like the image quality. :(
cool!😊
That's not a little delay, it is like 0.5 second?
I put the actual measurement of frames on screen. The obsbot was 8 frames. The atem was 5.
@@zephanmoses how do we fix this delay dam setting up a live stream with live switching , do I need to delay my audio to get in sync
@@VickyKumar-c1i4u there’s really no way around it. You need to reserve usb cameras for wide shots or camera angles where delay won’t matter.
