Yet another fine story told, the tug/barge handlng is an art that balances the forces involved. looks simple to the bystander but really comlex, even more so with wind and current.

Dont think so. It was a walky talky so when hitting the water it was beyond repair.

While working at Heathrow Airport we had the task of over pumping waste water from one manhole to another, to effect pipe repairs in between. Because we were working Air Side we had security with us, the security boss came out dressed in brand new Hi Vi clothing, boots and had. He looked like a shop window model with not a hair out of place, he made a big show of giving us all his cell phone number, he then insisted in have a look down the manhole, lent forward phone falls out of top pocket and land on a shelf way down the manhole. Not one of us volunteered to climb down and get it. In fact we couldn't go down as it was an enclosed space and we stick to the rules.
But we called his number, he was going nuts thinking they were emergency calls !!!!!!
