- Thanks to Royal Purple Oils, we headed to the 2020 Aus Time Attack to follow the Tilton Interiors team on their quest to break the outright lap record at Wakefield Park Raceway. The new Global Aircraft Services Evo smashes the Open Class record as well!
The tilton car hit 262km/h down the main straight. Mind blowing.

I love seeing practical application of motors and cars instead of all the straightline BS that JDMs have become. Well done!
A lot of people would do more than straight line stuff but the tracks are just not there. It's much easier to find a private road mark off a 1/4,1/2 mile and go.

@@MotiveVideo what I wanted to say is how easy it would be for them to break records at USA just as they were making fun. The frustrating thing with USA is that although they have many expensive car projects spending hundreds of thousand of dollars, lets say some drift cars for example, they don't have any world class leading time attack cars with only minor exceptions. Only cars I can think they could compete with Australian time attack cars are those who take part at Pikes Peak Hill climb but those usually don't take part at time attack events.

An F1 did an exhibition at SMSP and went 1:17 from memory, but that's was exhibition. Even if it did a 1:15 that's less than 10 seconds quicker around SMSP.

@@poolix1 the turbo hybrid F1 cars are by far and away the fastest F1 cars ever, in particular the W11 Mercedes however saying that they are 20-30 seconds faster than a pro time attack car is a joke. I would say about 10 seconds is more accurate
