I hate this boss as a blood DK. Feels like every other tank spec can move a massive distance away during the charge. Thank you for the guides as well. They’ve helped me clear this raid on Normal/Heroic without any issues.🎉

hey is that a weak aura or an addon thats showing the vertical bar with the boss abilities/timer
I noticed you ran into the charred earth when he charges at you, is this recommended? I play Prot Pally, so I can bubble once, but if it happens again, will the charge and the ground kill me?
Ground won't kill you unless you're giga undergeared or stay there for ages. I just run into the charred ground as its easy to get distance from the raid for the prox damage and keep the boss on the outside.
How do I survive standing in the fire for the charge ?
depends what class you play, DK AMS and move in, VDH can leap out and then leap back etc, you'll likely need to sink some form of self heal or defensive into it, your healers also have to spot heal you of course
i thought i was doing something wrong everytime i do this fight as a prot warrior but no my other tank just never taunt swaps after the charge so i get insta killed
Yeh it's brutal if your other tank is a potato =(
why does dbm say taunt boss right when he charge? that makes no sense lol
Because the charge is a queued event, so when he starts it you can hit taunt, and the charge will still go off on the queued player =)
