Yea, what's the deal with all the piano leads? There is an orchestra too. I mean, let's everybody get together to hear one person on piano run up and down the scales. Van Cliburn. It's like a piece of music dominated by sax, or guitar, or whatever. I like orchestrations personally. Call me crazy. It's like the late 19th to early 20th century was the age of the lead piano, as the late 1960's to mid 1980's was to lead guitar. Eh - give me Beethoven, Handel, Bach,, List, Mozart, etc.etc. -Vivaldi ! Four Seasons ! ! Or the Russian four of the early 20th century. Orchestrations
Rick the same happens with the composition s of Mendelssohn...the orchestra is an accompaniment of the piano...but this is also rich in themes and colour...than you a good observation.
@@francobonanni218 How about a symphony written for bass clarinet ? Or piccolo ? Or tuba ? No. Why? Because those are register instruments. There is no way anyone can write a full orchestral piece for the highest or lowest frequencies. Personally, I like Eb and Bb respectively; for the male or female singers. No symphonic but music none the less.
Lovely music, from a great pianist who was also a great statesman. Thank you for posting this work.

Szkoda że Polacy zapomnieli o J. Paderewskim. Nie oddają mu należytej czci. Wielki!
