Appliance Test Plugs: you mention you have a Welder Plug, so with all the appliances you handle you should consider making up a few 30-50 amp pig tail test cords that would plug into your welder plug. Each short adaptor could have one of the common Female plugs on the other end to fit various appliances (stove, dryer, etc). The plugs cost a bit each, but you only need a few feet of wire to make up each test adaptor. That way you could test units out and sell more parts.
An alternative, if you have extra breaker slots in your shop’s Electrical Panel would be to get a couple surface mount female 30-50 amp plugs of the needed type and wire them up with breakers into the panel. Again, the cables don’t need to be long, if you can dolly the appliances in near the Power Panel, to plug them in for testing. Cost a bit to do, but would pay for itself in tested parts.
Are you going to get a canopy for this truck? I miss the one I had on my ranger sometimes but now I have a bed cover on the Nissan so I can keep stuff secure but also roll it back to haul tall items.
@DumpsterMarcus I'm assuming closer to the coast you get more since me thinks most of our scrap gets sent to China. Our scrap in the midwest has to be trucked halfway across the country to a port.
I never thought the day would come where I would hear Jake Brake interference from a truck in one of your videos lol!!!
Well somehow, he got rich and moved to the country where engine braking is way too common.
Man that’s super lucky. I would rock either of those instead of my craftsman versastack filled with like 280 pounds of mechanics tools
Thanks for the ride along you done good young brother
That was an awesome score for sure and they're my favorite color too
