Gray light flat fall jigging in Southern California is the best! Use the heaviest gear you got! I've gotten 2 over 200lbs on these! 72inx48in an moon cycle is very important! Also stick as many hooks as you can on the jig you can, more the better!
We fish topwater at night around deep water oil rigs catching black fin and yellow fin ,you see the strike in 3d at under the lights of rigs. The splashing is superwhite

My very favourite (& most frustrating at times) is chasing topwater tuna and mackeral using a range of lures from Nomad to Siren to OTL. Would love to know what you used here for both top water and getting down when they are not coming up to a depth they are hanging at.

i was jigging them with a 80g gypsy when the school went down other wise i nomally cast a 110 fast sink riptide and slow wind it
