Giveaways or not, you've made a subscriber out of me with your super informative content. I've learned a lot from your videos. Thank you for doing what you do!
I wouldn't even put giveaways in your title. All your subscribers watch all your videos anyway. We would be happy to know you are doing a giveaway when we are watching. It would be a nice surprise :o)
That textured granite paint would be awesome to spray on a diorama for gravel-dirt roads base. Great idea and variety of products you choose to test. Thanx again for all you do for us.
B. Rex….My wife and I just did a makeover of our kitchen. With all the knobs and door hinges off, I spray painted those with the Krylon black hammered look. Wow, they came out better than what I was expecting. I think Krylon makes a great product. I never used these rattle cans for my models, although the Krylon went on smooth and covered all the nooks and cranny’s quite well, no runs and I sprayed several coats. The Krylon hammered black has small different color metallic chips in it. Great video … that paint shaker looks like a beast, sure can use that one for my modeling. Thanks for the videos which are always very informative. Mike
Great video, thank you for testing and giving creative ideas for us to use these for. Try not to let those scammers get you down, they gave it a shot at trying to get me two videos ago. They’re horrible people that cause unwarranted problems. Keep up the great content, and I just ordered a couple of your neon panel liners. Can’t wait to use them!
Hey Robert, I've been doing my External Gundam Frames with these Metal Textures, "Mostly Rustoleum" for a while now, After a clear-coat They also hold the articulating joints pretty good, Happy Painting!! Cheers!
Some additional coats might be able to make this even better. If you were to mask off some lines and paint a coat of flat black over one of the finer stone sprays, you could go back with some white and yellow to make a section of highway for a kit to stand on.
The Rust-Oleum Stone (and other similar finishes) make great roofs and textured walls in model railroading. Thanks for all your great information you share with us. It has vastly enhanced my airbrushing skills.
It's funny you mentioned spraying tombstones with these paints because I've been using them for just that for about 15 years. Very realistic stone finishes.
I have been using the textured paints for a while now on my bases. I apply a light dry brush on some of them, depending upon what I am going for..... Great videos....
I've used the hammered metal colors around the house and in the garage and have been pretty pleased with the results. I never thought about the stone-look stuff before with models, but I do like your suggestion about creating a statue out of a kit. It's got my wheels turning, for sure. Thanks for the review!
Ok, I wouldn't have thought of this. This is a brilliant idea! Thanks so much for sharing your finds, ideas, and tips! I hope the future of Gunpla and plastic modelers will contiune this hobby with your great tips and advice!
I don’t know about the metal ones, but I have used the stone ones several times in and around my house. Especially on the metal columns in my old basement. They do work well. It’s very reminiscent of the old GM fleck trunk paint from the 60s and 70s.
Been subbed to your channel for awhile and love seeing the different paints you use and I can definitely see using those textured paints for a diorama even for customs on stuff like 3d printed props
Awesome idea!! The heavier first two look like a planets surface or space meteor. Another fantastic building idea! Thank you for the inspiration! I've gotten a lot of ideas from these sprays.
I love that hammered metal look! The stone is nice but the hammered metal is awesome! Great review my friend. You could build an entire gunpla diorama with these painted bases. Excellent!
Years ago my wife and I held a Pirate themed Murder Mystery party at our house. We built a paper mache/chicken wire & 1x2 wood framed cave opening for the door to our house. You had to walk through the cave to get to the basement where we held our party. Built a stage, jail and bar as well. The stone paint looked perfect sprayed on the cave with a bit of fake moss glued to it and was a hit for the party!
its a shame that some people like to ruin things for others. I can see where some of these Krylon's and Rustoliums would work well in a diorama. Thanks for all the time you put in to do these vids.
Man oh man i sure hope there is a good stock of those airbrushes! It's gonna be an all out war to get them! I know I sure will be getting one the second they come out
Paul from NB Canada yet another GREAT video. I am almost convinced to try Rustoleum products. Can't wait to see your own Airbrush as well!! Assuming it will be a Badger made gun? Thanks again for all the great content.
This looks great for the bases. I do foam modeling and these bases would look great with some add ons like that. Completely forgot about this type of paint when I was trying to get Dollar Tree minis to look like stone for a mini fountain I made.. This will definitely help. If you do make a Gundam statue, I'd love to watch your process. 👍Keep the great videos coming 😊
I've figured out that i can use the spray paints as base coats on my lures so long as i give them a lite clear coat afterward before adding paints to them.
Robert, I know you covered in a video some time ago, but what temp setting are you using when you put pieces in the dehydrator? That last spoon, the sea-foam green I think you said, that is a beautiful color... wow!
I do more horror based stuff so I'm not sure, but I wonder if that might make for a good base if ever wanted to add an old rusted texture to something? Like I said I don't know car stuff, but could definitely see that as a base for something you wanted to appear weathered 🙂
Really cool, I always wondered about those. I appreciate what you are doing with the giveaways. Personally I do not think that the responsibility of dealing with scammers should fall on you entirely, folks should use common sense.
I will definitely be purchasing your brand name airbrush! Very excited about this! Also maybe save the giveaways for patreon to avoid the scammers? Just a suggestion.
Robert, I was beginning to wonder if something happened to you. Lol I'd been checking back for a new video all week and started to think something unexpected might've came up when I didn't see a video yet! ✌️😁
So I used the stone paint on a few things outside. I prepped everything first. But it’s coming off after a few weeks….? What can I do to make it last for a while.
I am pretty sure I got scared a couple sent email no response. The scamer was pushing for text only and waded large amount for shipping. But I love this channel

Finally, gunpla specific content. Love your tool reviews but I always wanted to see you do a gunpla.
I wouldn't even put giveaways in your title. All your subscribers watch all your videos anyway. We would be happy to know you are doing a giveaway when we are watching. It would be a nice surprise :o)
I really love your vids! I look forward to them every week. Helps me out being out of the hobby for 30 years!!
That textured granite paint would be awesome to spray on a diorama for gravel-dirt roads base. Great idea and variety of products you choose to test. Thanx again for all you do for us.
Funny… I was just looking at those and especially the hammered metal paint at Lowes! Thank you for checking these out.

Robert I had no idea how good those textured paints would look so good. Once again I learned something new from your video. Keep up the good work.
Your satin clear over the candy green gives a nice anodized look! Very cool
Hey Robert, I've been doing my External Gundam Frames with these Metal Textures, "Mostly Rustoleum" for a while now, After a clear-coat They also hold the articulating joints pretty good, Happy Painting!! Cheers!
That black is awesome . If i ever get everything to start painting i will be trying that . Very nice ...!
Great video…I bought a textured Krylon recently to use for an organic spaceship

Ive used all of these on other projects and have been happy with all the results. ill have to just use them on a bace now also.
I just ordered a couple of the Typhoon stands. Thanks for the heads up!
Great purchase

That’s a really cool and creative application of those spray paints. I like the effect they give the bases. 👍
I quite liked the grey stone over black you showed at the beginning. I'd have liked to see the effect on one of the plastic bases.
What a great idea. I'm going to give some texture painting a try.
I used a Hammered black from Krylon before and You got to make sure with these most of all got to clean out that cap.
I don’t know about the metal ones, but I have used the stone ones several times in and around my house. Especially on the metal columns in my old basement. They do work well. It’s very reminiscent of the old GM fleck trunk paint from the 60s and 70s.
I'm gonna have to pick up some of that cast iron paint. Will be perfect for some 28mm 3d printed terrain I made recently.
Been subbed to your channel for awhile and love seeing the different paints you use and I can definitely see using those textured paints for a diorama even for customs on stuff like 3d printed props
Great video Rob, keep em coming I'll keep watching.
nice idea to use these cans for the bases. will definitely reference this in the future.
Love the testing of the spray paint! Great job!
Agree with the Typhoon racks. They are awesome.
I remember that heavy texture stuff from back in the 90s. It's a dust magnet and will not come clean. So a clear over it is a must if you ask me
Can’t wait to start using these 2K’s! Thank you.
I have used the hammered metal paints they work well. I like the effect on some things......
I think the hammered metal would be perfect for cast steel pieces, like on WWII tanks.
Excellent!
I've used these same paints for doing mini (WH40K) bases, terrain, buildings for years. Even if it was the wrong color. I would just paint over it.
Great video thanks for the paint demo I use rustolium some times
God bless ya brother! Keep up the great videos! I think those textured paints could make terrain painting pretty quick. Thanks for testing it for us!
Barbatos, mg tallgeese, rx78, ez8, zaku, or gouf for stone statue paint. Just my opinion. Great effect from those cans.
This is a great idea. The textured bases look very impressive.

Thanks for this video, I have been curious about some of these paints for hobby use.
Pretty cool idea! Excellent texture for the bases.
Awesome looks going to have to try them on some 28mm minis
I would love to see a statue sprayed with this paint. The hammered steel could look really great on some of the frames on the gundams.
Nice idea. I never thought using textured paint for the bases. Wonder if it would lose the texture if you sprayed another color over it?
That is a really good idea, works great for rusted props, the texture also stays good as long as you do light layers❤
Always looking for new creative ideas and these paints are pretty neat.
Thank you for testing those!
Man oh man i sure hope there is a good stock of those airbrushes! It's gonna be an all out war to get them! I know I sure will be getting one the second they come out

Another great video. I really lije the statue idea.
I love watching your videos. I always look forward to them
another great video, I learn something new everytime..
Interesting! I never considered stone fleck for something like that.
This looks great for the bases. I do foam modeling and these bases would look great with some add ons like that. Completely forgot about this type of paint when I was trying to get Dollar Tree minis to look like stone for a mini fountain I made.. This will definitely help.

I can't believe how many paints you have you could open your own paint store 👍👍👍👍
Wow, those textures
Really wish your 2k paints shipped worldwide I'd definitely pick some up
Yeah, that does lay down nice.
Hammered metal looks really cool
Awesome video👍 hey is there a Clear texture spray available. Thank you
I've figured out that i can use the spray paints as base coats on my lures so long as i give them a lite clear coat afterward before adding paints to them.
Nice review. Many possibilities.
What acrylic spray paint can I use to paint clear thin bending plastic like drink bottles
I painted a vintage battle cat toy in the stone paint before. It looked like a statue so I imagine a gunpla statue would be cool
Wow looks great
great video. you have a great channel. thanks for sharing.
love your videos, I always learn so much! thank you
Thanks for these valuable videos I’m so glad I found your channel, you are so generous and knowledgeable ❤have a great day sir
Thanks Daniel for the kind words, much appreciated
love your content always makes me want to run home and build my models lol
Robert, I know you covered in a video some time ago, but what temp setting are you using when you put pieces in the dehydrator? That last spoon, the sea-foam green I think you said, that is a beautiful color... wow!
Great ideas thank you!
Interesting spray paints. Not sure where I'd use them considering I mostly build car models.🤔
I do more horror based stuff so I'm not sure, but I wonder if that might make for a good base if ever wanted to add an old rusted texture to something?
Like I said I don't know car stuff, but could definitely see that as a base for something you wanted to appear weathered 🙂
Road surface or parking lot?
@@infernalsaxon I don't build dioramas typically.
@@bmw128racer If you put them on a shelf, maybe use them to make a parking lot or such type shelf?
Great Test I really like those, you should try the other hammered colors
I love this community!
Really cool, I always wondered about those.
I appreciate what you are doing with the giveaways. Personally I do not think that the responsibility of dealing with scammers should fall on you entirely, folks should use common sense.
Any idea when the gloss will come back?
Early next week. Before Wednesday
Nice good ideas thanks!
You're welcome Danny
Does the granite or hammered sprays have any depth (physical) that you can feel?
I will definitely be purchasing your brand name airbrush! Very excited about this! Also maybe save the giveaways for patreon to avoid the scammers? Just a suggestion.
what color and brand is that on ur gunpla? that yellowish green part
Love this!!!
Thanks buddy 👍
Any possibility of a 2k primer? I don't think splash paints is ever going restock theirs.
Wow this is cool
oh would your airbrush have multiple needle sizes?
Robert, I was beginning to wonder if something happened to you. Lol I'd been checking back for a new video all week and started to think something unexpected might've came up when I didn't see a video yet! ✌️😁
Could be cool to spray these over those 1/20 pilot figures that came with some older 1/100 gundams
I've been curious about this
That “granite finish” is like a faux Zolatone ( GM trunk paint from the 60’s and 70’s), but nowhere close to being as hardy.
So I used the stone paint on a few things outside. I prepped everything first. But it’s coming off after a few weeks….? What can I do to make it last for a while.
Wow that's odd, it's made for outside. Did you lay down a primer first?
@@barbatosrex9473 cleaned …primed 3 layers, then 4 layers of obsidian, rock spray, . Just wandering if I should clear spray seal it. afterwards
You should definitely go with a top coat.
@@barbatosrex9473 thanks. I’ll try that next. Ty
The base with gundam on it seems to grainy for me, but nice touch for a spraycan today
Hi guys. I hope all of you are doing well.
That was nice🙂
Best wishes to you as well
You need your own Dewey Decimal System for all of your paints. 😂
I am pretty sure I got scared a couple sent email no response.
The scamer was pushing for text only and waded large amount for shipping. But I love this channel
Be careful of these scammers
@Barbatos Rex I never sent anything I did email you and it has a phone number but they did your profile picture
How much does that mixer weigh? Lord, you sounded like you popped something trying to pick it up.
I used that hammered metal on a mid-evil esq barbatos. Super easy to spray but the shelf life is TERRIBLE.
