I have a huge confusion between the Master branch and production branch,"master" branch is the "main" branch what we use for exposing website to end users!!then y do we have production branch again !! Master or main branch and production branch is same only ????????

one doubt if u have diffrent branch how its trigger the pipeline in jenkins. should we want to keep branches in different repo and should we want separate Jenkins for every branch? how plz say the working process with different branch trigger and jenkins webhook happening ?
