9:03: I'm glad you pointed that out dude (as well as the website, Guitar Messenger) because this song was actually *dropped* the day he *released* that course, 'Progressive Picking' (which he's obviously been fingers to the bone behind the scenes with!), and that you mentioned this is absolutely SPOT on!! ✨

9:40, on the back of that (I dunno if I already mentioned this), there're also melodic references to one or two of his other songs I can hear in there plain as day - notably in those bright, sparkly Lydian sections, including one you previously reacted to (Throne of the Anxious). It's referential. He even deconstructs *that* song on that guitar course... thing 😳

Dude's mental haha! Just to think he was meant to be on our boiz' album, The Enigma Division, still blows my mind to this this day! 🥵 Shame it never happened of course, but you can't fault Sam Bell!! But yeah, dude, Taranto is absolutely one of those modern day players who's like top of the top and will absolutely, absolutely leave a phenomenal mark on the guitar/music scene for decades and decades to come! That's why I'm eager to share haha!

Guitar gymnastics at it's finest. That wasn't a song, that was a sporting event! I never knew the left had could do that.

Aaah, yes, for anyone curious about why this *sounds* so good outside of the music itself. Adam Bentley. Our Arch Echo lad is essentially omni-present these days. I'll always make a point about him as not only is he a phenomenal musician but also a wizard with all the fiddly-widdly stuff that makes the music actually *sound* good 🤣

I find Stephens compositions with full instrumentation actually exceeds my ability to hear and discern imdividual melody and harmony. Its cacophonous.
Perhaps strangely I much prefer his solo riffs he practises and compiles on his social pages. They are mind blowing, twisty and of course incredibly technical.
