I made a slight mistake in the scoring of the Ghost. They don’t get a point from leaving an elemental realm, but they do get a point when they leave the underworld.

Thanks for sharing an intro to Ghosts of Eldervale (solo mode). Good work getting back to most of the questions that came up.
Notes:
-- The last paragragh in the Ghost Choices section states: "If there is another choice not described here, such as where to place a Realm tile, the Living Player makes the choice for the Ghosts."
-- During the Peaceful Beginning is actually a great time to place in a Realm that is already occupied by another faction or Monster since no Battle happens.
-- You can up the difficulty by playing with one or more of the Ghost cards face down.

Thank you very much for the clarification on those things I still needed to iron out!

Hi,
I just posted the below question on BGG:
"Question:
Does this mean that we, the Living Player, are acting as the Ghost - and therefore trying to make the optimal move in the Ghost's own interest; or are we just making the choice, because it has to be made (obviously - the nature of a solo game) and we should be acting in the interest of whatever is best as the Living Player?
Thanks."

@@JJ_TheGreat - You likely received an answer from Luke or myself on BGG. I am just seeing your question here. Thanks for asking!
The living player does not have to choose what they can see may be best for the Ghosts. But, you can up the difficulty of the game if you do not choose what is optimal for you. So, when adding a Realm tile to Eldervale you can choose what is best for you, what is best for the Ghosts, or somewhere inbetween. Of course, this is all determined at a specific moment in the game. So, who benefits most from placement as the game plays out may end up being different than you thought at the time. :)

After playing *Dark Ages* this looks like a branch off from Dwelling of Eldervale. Just like Dark Ages, you collect resources and manage your cards to get more guys out / make them stronger. There is fighting too but it is not a major part of the game.

John, thanks like always with the sample play demo. Unfortunately this one doesn't appeal. Look forward to your next video...

@JohnLaRuffa The most difficult (time-consuming) part is setting it up. It is a lot of work (especially for a solo game, as I just went through all of it) - but hopefully, it will be well worth it!
