@@mikejdm6704 The SC, I picked up for 2k a little while back. The ISF was the perfect blend of power and useability. Both were bought with a loan. The JZX would have to be RHD for the US, and I'd want a manual. I would have to buy them with cash in hand on top of a loan. My wife can't drive a stick so had to buy something that worked for us both. Need the garage space to buy the one car that only I can use. I can afford it, but sadly it doesn't make sense just yet. Irony of adulthood. When you have time you have money. When you have money, you don't have the time. Always searching for the balance! :)
Although we now have 4 JZX100s we just got our manual on the road. This video has motivated me for years to get one then get it on the road. Drove it around today was about as good as this is. Thanks for motivating people from around the globe. I watch this video at least once every few months

So I come here often to listen to this as a reminder of how worth it the whole thing is. I sold my forged 1.5jz after falling on hard times during lockdown. I ordered a vvti 1j later on and currently it's waiting to go back in but as an oem engine with seals done and cleaned. So stock with bolt ons. Can't wait to hear it. Hopefully sounds as mint as this

sounds like you got exhaust on left channel intake on the right. It would be better if you combined the channels in editing. sounds really weird on headphones especially. nice sounding 1jz though!
@@ChurTrain 6 month late reply but yeah, that's exactly how it actually is in JZX/JZZ/JZS cars. the intake/turbo noise is clearly from the right with the window down haha

ZX100 is probably one of the best looking/ sounding cars of the 1990s and probably my top 5 favorites
this video made me fall in love with jX100s... few years later and I built my own jzx100 with a 1.5jz 😁
Same here, binge watched this for ages, eventually got my own in 2019 bone stock. Now it's at 470hp with full kit, wheels, the lot!
