Super X3 - Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee

This is DAMM's version of the Super X3. The particle effects for its ULT laser are missing in the final GameCube and Xbox versions of the game. They can be found in the demo version, but as it turns out, they are just duplicates of the jet exhaust particle effect. You can see it attempt to fire its weapon once at 0:35. This version of the Super X3 is much more complete than the demo's version, as it no longer drops to the ground randomly, actually sort of fires its weapon, has a specular material applied, and is no longer oversized. There is also a special Vortaak variant that spawns on the Mothership in place of the G-Force version seen in the rest of the game's stages.

It's cool to see the Super X3. But I wish there was a way to see Baragan in the game

Me too... Unfortunately, it's unlikely we'll ever see DAMM Baragon unless another Pipeworks devkit surfaces with data intact for DAMM. I do think the small icon for him in STE's monster select screen is a render of his DAMM model though, since his was one of the earliest icons that was finished for STE: ruclips.net/video/H93Ls9f_Kz4/видео.html

I'm guessing they couldn't get the model to fire at the player?

That could be it. I tried giving it MG2's beam but it fires sideways instead of at the player. It could also be something to do with the ULT laser weapon. There is an unused weapon for the Super X3 in STE called "FreezeRay" which suggests they planned to give it its ULT laser in that game as well, but it ended up being replaced with freeze missiles, so it seems they weren't happy with the weapon. What the issue with it was is hard to say though. It doesn't actually freeze the player in STE, so that could be the reason it was replaced. But maser tanks do freeze the player in DAMM, so it seems unlikely that this was the problem.
