We need our town centers to be a place where individuals can come and open a variety of businesses.
It’s almost impossible to get a foothold on the bypass due to the cost associated with them.

Sadly the bypass diverted a lot of traffic. The Korean restaurant is one of the best in the area. The Beatitude house has a big mural on the side of the building honoring the 82nd Airborne.

The bypasses have definitely drawn people away from their town centers. I hope these videos help to change that.

In the late sixies that first building center had a Rexall drug store with a small cafe. I'd get a hamburger for 25 cents. Everything has moved to the main road. I never felt it had an identity other than being next to Ft Bragg.

I've lived 1993 in spring lake I believe it was N.Main st 3 apartment complex across the street was small convenience store bring back memories

Spring Lake is a terrible town. I moved there and stayed for about 3 years. I moved there in the middle of when the police station was shut down for over 10 months, but the FBI. People who live there have major issues!
