    She didnt call 9-1-1 during the chase. During the chase they were running around burms and ditches which caused OnStar to call 9-1-1 automatically thinking they were in a wreck. Thats the recording you hear. The recording picks up the deputys and marshalls talking about Vicky still having her finger on the trigger thats where that comes from. She never said she had gun to her head and finger on trigger. They didnt know that OnStar was recording at the time of chase.

    I think the show "I almost got away with it" should do a reprisal 3 part episode on this one. I personally don't think he understood what was happening. I think she spent the last 6 days trying to convince him to leave Indiana. His lawyer says he has history of psychological problems plus he's a meth addict. Not a high functioning criminal. He only wanted to get out of jail. I don't think he understood they needed to keep going. I think she realized too late she ran away with a psychiatric patient from a mental hospital. She herself was no criminal. She had no fake ID's no passports no plane tickets , bought a ragedy getaway car. I bet that car she bought came from a place that had the worst reputation in town. She probably didnt even have a computer at home. I bet she goes to the bank teller everytime she made cash withdrawals. My point, she had no clue on planning to live on the run. That issue magnified 1000000% when she realized he was of zero help. He has no ties to any underground people so he couldn't direct her to anyone to get the IDs they needed. Them tattoos he has is just to survive in prison. Nothing more. He is clearly afraid to die. 2 police apprehensions and he turns himself in. Naw... He just a low-level psych patient that commits crimes for drugs and food.

      @blakswizzy 2 года назад +8

      She did actually have fake IDs. That's how she purchased the getaway car that she parked at the shop. She was alot smarter than we give her. She carried on a 2 year relationship with Casey, in 2 separate facilities, and no one had a clue. I can agree with you on Casey though. He just wanted out and had no clue what to do next.

    • @evangeline77x

      Vicky was much more prepared and with it than you give her credit for, they succeeded as long as they did based on a mix of mostly her planning and wits, and some dumb luck.. Though I agree with your assessment of Casey. He's a pretty standard tweaker who snapped and did some really horrifically effed up things and was almost instantly caught and incarcerated for life. Much of his criminal history was pretty standard and petty though.. I do have to disagree with your assumptions about his tattoos however.. Those are not merely survival tattoos. The iconography of his sleeve specifically are associated with a branch of the Aryan brotherhood called Aryan family. They have ties to the "new" white supremacist compound in Tennessee (used to be located in Idaho, they're the people who run resistance records and an in house publishing and printing house that among other inflammatory and racist titles is responsible for the ongoing sale and promotion of 'The Turner Diaries' an apocalyptic sci-fi white supremacist fantasy novel about the end of the US and rise of a vague "multicultural" shadow govt. It's known for being the main inspiration for several domestic terrorists including the OKC bomber). I find it interesting that with his tattoos, that affiliation and the fact they made their way to Tennessee very interesting. And perhaps as more info comes out about where the vehicles came from there might be a connection. Either way, he's doing life and it's very likely he's pretty deeply involved in that organization within the prison at least.

    • @maxxpopp2373
      @maxxpopp2373 2 года назад

      @@blakswizzy the kind of fake id's I'm talking about are plane ticket border crossing id's and passports. They should have been at the Mexican or Canadian border by 3pm the same day with that 6 hr head start. On a plane by 1pm if she already had IDs, tickets and passports. I am curious to know whose Id she forged. I really believe it was her deceased husband's ID or her elderly mother's but I guess we will see if they release that info. I really hate she died though. However, I'm not sure she would tell the truth even if she had not.

      @@evangeline77x I understand the group is real and is behind a host of things. I just don't think CASEY is a real one. He is a low level chameleon. I don't believe they would have even helped him because he would have led law enforcements to their door. They got enough heat for the things they are involved with. I believe they would have shot him had he approached them with any request for help and rightly so. Now Vicky is a different story. People thinking Vicky should have known more due to working at the prison. How? She was a correctional officer responsible for transporting and organizing transportation of prisoners. She was not a detective, a policeman, Texas Ranger, navy seal, army vet, etc. She was a correctional officer. I don't think she assessed this properly. She didn't do a jail break. She did what she normally did and didn't return with an inmate. I'm just not sure Vicky understood either what type person has to accompany you on a "on the run escape as the FBI's most wanted"! In the audio she is asking him for help and tell him to start running, but he wasn't ready to move and risk to be hit with a shot from cops. She didn't wanted to be arrested and jailed, so maybe she decided to kill herself better, while he choose to get caught and saved his life. She thought he would be more helpfull in the runaway, but he was mostly a big burden, and she couldn't do everything alone. I believe they truly had feelings for each others, but she wasn't cool enough to see the reality of escaping with a man that was not going to be helpfull at all,in any way. She was all by herself with the escaping and that was too much for her, and she realized that too late. No happy endings here unfortunately.

      Pretty darn close. But Vickie knew what would happen to her if caught. Period. Having sold out her life (and all that implies, home, car, cash) and after her lengthy personal loss, she was committed in her mind: [this will work and we'll get away, or I'll die, as it's all gone]. To her detriment, Casey wasn't the "big strong man" he played that she perceived, wanted, needed and took. He'd failed a previous suicide by cop plan. I'd be interested to know if she was on HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) for menopause. Guess for some it increases desires, affects mood and decision making. JMHO, dad was a cop.

    There was from the start a desire to slot Casey and Vicky into a generic model but one size does not fit all. A man 6'9" who is looking at 75 years in jail and a woman 5'5" who went from law enforcer to law breaker who are romantically involved to the point that the man calls the woman his "wife" when surrendering is a unique situation unlike others. Casey 6'9" sat in the passenger seat with Vicky 5'5" driving the getaway car. Vicky sadly uses a weapon on herself while Casey surrenders without a fight. After the fact, Casey suddenly tells the police he was going to do this or that if the chase went on but the truth is there is no sign of any behavior here from him other than being docile. It keeps coming back to the man and woman and relationship between them that impacted behaviors. Casey is now talking tough for the guys back in the joint but his actions when he let his 5'5" girlfriend drive his 6'9" frame during a high speed chase tell it all. Casey probably doesn't want to admit his girlfriend was in a more assertive role in their relationship.

    I want to know how they were able to get that truck and transport all those weapons. Did they hide them and hike out to the main road, and somehow get to a car dealership and then come back? Did someone pick them up? How come Casey has no blood splatter on him from what I could see? Even with Vicky blurred out you don't see any blood on the seat she was sitting on. She shot herself in the head. There should be blood everywhere. How did they get her saying "Let's get out and run." Were they on the phone with the police while being chased? Why did Casey refer to her as his wife. Were they actually married in the two years he was in state prison when they were communicating? You guys did a better job reporting this than the main stream media.

      And both their last names being White and the Sheriffs last name is Wedding. How everyone said that pic of Vicky looks nothing like her. I also wondered why Casey had no blood on him. Stuff don’t add up

    For people who were interested in hiding out they were running around town an awful lot. Especially him with those short sleeves, his tattoos on display, getting the car washed??? Say what? Sounds like they were trying to get caught.

      That's what I'm thinking too because if I'm going to be out on the run most people don't you two said they probably went to Canada or Mexico why they didn't go there and why would you check in a hotel room okay if they had tents in the car when they could have just gotten out somewhere in the woods and just set up there to me none of that makes any sense at all and we know a lot of fugitives like the Unabomber how long was he gone before he got caught then of course he was by himself too wasn't he so yeah none of this make any sense at all how they did things

    What I’m piecing together is that she shot herself after the crash but before police reached the car. That’s why she said airbags are going off and we should get out and run. They wanted a shootout. There’s another video on here from a passing motorist who claims that the police shot up the car. It sounds like he witnessed the crash. That’s in line with the 911 call when it sounds like a shot or shots fired. Also sounds like a shriek coming from her right before that. Maybe cops fired first then she shot herself?

    Not for nothing & I hate to be cruel but for a plan that was supposedly planned for so long they did everything wrong...like keystone cop escapees.
    May she Rest In Peace; throwing her life away at the dawn of her retirement for this toothless slug loser of a man because she was lonely. I feel awful for her, her family colleagues & especially her mother. Awfully sad & poorly planned all around. They should’ve kept MOVING. why he would leave a truck they just got in a lot is the stupidest maneuver. Wtf they were thinking obv we’ll never know.
    Wild ride for sure
    I’m sure amazon or Netflix will get their hands on this & we’ll see a watered down rendition of this tragedy

      I’m surprised at the sympathy given to Vicky, she made the decision to become a fugitive and go down this road nobody forced her. What if they car jacked someone and killed an innocent bystander or injured/killed an officer in a shootout would we be still hearing poor Vicky…?

If so did they walk with all there things or hide it and come back with the truck and or caddy. Oh and fyi he shot her ass. She was screaming Casey the airbags if she was gonna kill herself she wouldn’t be worried about getting hurt by the airbag.

    they should have left that truck out somewhere that there were no surveillance cameras if they had been smart enough to figure that out, someone would have come along and stole it with the keys left in it and no video left behind, but instead they leave it in a place where cameras picked them up, even his entire body and face, and even picked up the next vehicle they got into, and not only that, why buy such expensive vehicles, they could have got by with much cheaper vehicles. I still say this was more Vicky White's exit in life plan, more her eventual suicide plan to end her life to escape from her life that had probably been pretty depressing for a long time now, after nursing a sick husband until death, she was getting rid of her life, escaping her life, not so much allowing this man to escape jail and his life inside jail. Looks to me like she used him more than he used her to escape a previous depressing life. they just happened to be fond of each other, because if she thought she could make a long term life with this man why not drive until you are in Canada or Mexico, but instead she pretty much stays in her own back yard, lying around in motels, and spending her loot on fairly expensive used vehicles that took a lot of gas to run as well. She needed to buy a vehicle cheap and cheap on gas and high tail it out of the country as fast as she could, then they could have started a new life together, but I truly think Vicky White was the one trying to escape her life and probably knew with this short distance from home and half way thought out plans of lying around in motels near to home would end in their capture where she then would have a good excuse to kill herself, which I think is what she planned all along to do. He thought the plan was for his jail escape, but I think the plan was for Vicky's exit out of her life which was SUICIDE. She just enjoyed a few moments of pleasure with a man she struck up a friendship with and both had reason to be desiring the opposite sex at a few short last moments in time of HER LIFE. She went out with a bang.

      @Connie Limon OMG this is exactly what I thought too!! You are the first person in the hundreds of comments I’ve read, who thinks that she wanted to exit her life as well. It makes sense. She got rid of every single thing she owned. Many people who want to commit suicide get rid of everything they own first. Not always, but they often do. I had a gut feeling when they ran off that she wasn’t coming back to Alabama alive. I just knew it. I really believe she wanted to die before she helped him escape.
