- This fight could have ended much sooner, but I wanted to really show how good metri can be when played patiently and safe. It benefits from dragging out fights immensely; damage nerfing vocal, a free extra HP bar, one of the fastest base heals in the game. Overall metri is a master at stalling, and slowly but consistently chipping away targets until theyre dead

Ayy very smartly played. And this is why I have tail attack on so many of my dinos, kent so hard with that reflect dmg. Using the tail how you did really was the best option. Kudos 💯

fight couldve gone extremely different if the kent actually forced you to move on your low health to make the bleed severe
Not really; bleed wasnt enough to kill me either way
I would've just ran forward tail spamming, popped my heal once the bleed is gone and do the same thing I did in the video
Impressive kill Kent's are very strong against metri I might need to start running tail attack on my metri because I dont think killing a Kent would be possible without tail attack
no it wouldnt be, tail attack is a neccesity in that regard. Balanced tail was imo overrated even before its recent nerfs (its now only a 5% turn buff). Having a tail attack is useful in so so many scenarious. An extra attack when running out, you can run and tail spam against 2 slots/smaller 3 slots to chip away and then tank/assride, you can use it offensively against a stego or kentro. Just a lot more versatile overall

you had after every single hit which he tried to hit you, in between chance to run in to him and bite or claw him…, literally from the beginning on !!!
You’re forgetting recoil, which gives like 15s of bleed, if I bite/claw. Kentro is also the same speed as metri, so it can just sprint forward, which means I hit its tail and hurt myself more than it. Which you can see it do every time I go for claws and bites, so it’s not like I didn’t try it

Healed only once. Heal has a 10 minute cooldown and this video is just under 8 mins, you can’t heal twice. 2 debuffs on kentro were used, so the Kentro will do less dmg with its attacks. That debuff has lower cooldown. Hope that helps.
