Just finished Season 3 last night and I've loved every minute of the series. I'm reading the first book with my tutor presently, in Italian (molto lentemente!) but am on my way shortly to a bookstore to get the fourth and final volume, but in English...queste giovani donne sono dei veri tesori italiani! Incredible that neither of these young ladies had any real acting experience prior to being cast.
Both are great actress totally believable they are the mothers. I wish they would make up them to play in the 4th season. And that there will be a comeback of the child actress who played Lila an lenu they were incredible too. Dede is adorable.
It is a pity that they had to replace the leading actresses, but it is inevitable. They are only 18 years old, in any TV series in the world they would work in series for teenagers like Euphoria, it is already extraordinary that they could play powerful roles like Lila and Elena until their maturity, going further would be impossible for them. I am curious and also distressed at the idea of seeing the fourth season, Elena Ferrante had no mercy for poor Lila, the tragedy that will hit her is terrifying and unacceptable, and the fact that we will never know anything about what really happened is still more terrible (although I think Lila was right in her suspicions about the reasons for that horrible action). The actress who will play the new Lila will have a very tough role.
Very true, just finished reading all four books in a month and what happened in the last one still leaves me in shambles. This recent third season of the show was amazing, and I'm excited for the last one but at the same time not prepared for what's to come 😅
Of course they were absolutely wonderful and I'm going to miss them very much but unfortunately I think it's for the better. By that I mean that no matter how hard they tried to make them look older, both actresses still looked barely adults even later in the third season while the characters were supposed to be in their thirties. Actually I think they should have made the change of accesses way sooner but it's just my opinion.

Omg I haven't read the books, should I be emotionally prepared?
@@karku3fan the title of the fourth book kind of gives it away... The Story of the Lost Child.
