    Rebecca, you forgot to mention a very important rule: after some verbs (usually, verbs of senses and feelings) you have to use an adjective not an adverb: you look (how?) beautiful - adjective. Plus, what about such idioms like: "Are we good?" "I'm good" = I'm ok? "as usual" etc. They are exceptions too.

    so helpful, most of the time I know how to say things because " it sounds right" but I didnt know why, if you know the rule it gives you so much confidence, thanks.

    I remember this married with children episode when Kelly was trying to help this guy she liked with his english homework, and she says " I speak english good" and Bud says "well", and Kelly says "well what?", I remember I didnt understand the joke back then, LOL!!!
