    You can also use seam seal or Aquasure (same product but thinner) under tenacious tape for an extra durable bond. The tape holds the sealant in situ while it dries so you dont have to drop the tent. Tho I prefer not to see a patch on the outside. Worth knowing tho. This came direct from McNett support.

      As it was for me as well! I made that repair nearly a year and a half ago,, and it's still going strong... No peeling on the inside, and the mend of the tear outside is stronger than the fabric itself! 🙏💚

      I certainly have, it stars in the latest video (out this evening)... Unfortunately no rain to test it with, but the repair looks and feels very hard wearing, so I'm feeling very confident!
