I can tell you that Dickens was such a genius in that he combines:
The passing journey of a life with each phase passing into the next
The end of a life.
The passing of a day from morning to nighfall.
The end of a day.
The passing of a year with describing of the
four seasons.
The end of a year.
I love the Child's Story very much as I am close to the old man stitting and remembering.
A favourite short story beautifully read
What are we here for, if not to walk with each other other along life’s journey? David H. Dunaway ,December 11, 2023

Hahahahaha
Now I don't need to buy a book thanks for saving my 💰 💰 💰 money
This is right: Adults should read children's stories, not children. A bit too plummy and trying too much, but it's a short story.
It did not strike me as a children's book. At least, not just for children. It would be great to study for teens perhaps. I enjoyed it but I always enjoy Dickens. Regards from an Ossie! 👇💜🙃
