And I agree with asmon. People donate money all the time. Most have donated more than 2k over time. But what are you supposed to do? Invite the guy over for dinner? Just because someone gives you money doesn't mean you need to suck their toes for 1 minute for each dollar. He has a stream to keep going and no one really wants to listen to toe slurping for 5 minutes. And giving money dosen't mean you have skill so you cant just get into the guild because you paid for it. I think you guys are just mad you have to work for you're small pay checks, and you're lifes are so sad that you get mad for someone being giving money, and them not declaring that person god. You cant just pay your way through life. Get over it nerds. And mccuck is a massive douchebag and I cant watch the stream when he is around. His fans are just as bad.

i would like to point out that the legendary bow wasnt bis for hunters but it was bis for rogues. this was due to the fact that u lost the damage bonus from arrows, wich in turn reduced ur dps below a few other ranged weps. however the stats were superior to other ranged weps wich made it bis for rogues.
Not 100% on this but i think the bow wasnt BIS for hunters due to the ammo being created being worse than the crafted one. So the Loot/Raid Lead on this guild may have been actually pretty smart.

While I feel sorry for Tseric for having to deal with the forums, he did do a good job at fucking up the shaman class review patch partly by not listening to any of the forum suggestions (which was kind of his job at the time). Long story short: Eyeonix was meant to take the suggestions, he went on vacation so Tseric was to do it instead, Tseric thinks the suggestions are stupid, doesn't listen to them. Shaman review ends up being garbage, shamans get mad, Tseric can't take it and rages at/bans people on the Shaman forums, he gets (supposedly) fired.
He also got dragged on the warrior forums for relaying or interpreting a message from the devs about warriors "popping engrage" too much, like it was an overpowered ability. Enrage had a chance to proc when the warrior was critically hit, the player had no control over it, and couldn't just "pop it." Tseric was raked over the coals for not knowing how anything works in their own game. It became a meme.
The way that the other GM replied to the question of whether Tseric quit or was fired almost made it sound like he quit, imo. After all, whenever someone noticeable "steps down" from a prominent role at a large company, speculation that he was fired for this and that often rages on anyways. That said, I don't think it's unlikely that Tseric didn't get at least a slap on the wrist for his final outburst. Maybe it was the final straw that caused him to just say: "fuck it, I quit."
Tseric wasn't 'slapping' everyone with truth, he was just a big ego guy, and when internet trolls meet up with guys like this.. the big ego just bites every bait, and this type of behavior isn't very good for a company's reputation.

Tseric is/was most likely a highly intelligent person and suffered daily by having to handle incompetent and ignorant trolls. I'd quit a job like that too. Also, intelligent people are prone to depression which is probably why the poem was posted, to express his emotions in a artistic way which demands creativity and courage. Tseric was a voice for many of us whom simply don't have time for simple-minded trolls.
Thori'dal sucked for BM hunters but was amazing for MM hunters which were the best DPS in SWP. Yes the weapons DPS was lower than golden bow + ammo DPS but this was more than made up for by steady shot (at least i'm pretty sure it was steady shot) one of hunters most used DPS abilities only doing weapon damage of which Thori'dals was a lot higher than Golden Bows (because it didn't take ammo DPS into consideration) which increased DPS more overall than the little extra DPS than Golden Bow + ammo. People that say Thori'dal sucked never think/remember that.

ppl sell there accounts everyday and dont get banned. I hate that blizzard tries to ban us for selling accounts. I work hard leveling and when i sell my accounts i dont want it to be in fear of getting banned. I have never had a problem, but still.

lots of players went under the radar aswell. a warrior on my old server the maelstrom called medhai was undergeared and somehow was taking on multiple ppl in BGs. hed regularly kill a dudes healer + him. once killed 3 people at the same time including a good geared retribution pally with fury spec during the WOTLK. he was one of the first on the server to hit 250k HKs with that bloodthirsty title. he also used to have a really good job during vanilla WoW and used to buy gold to give epic mounts away to strangers. i remember one time he caused a couple to have a big fight, an argument in the game over the mount he gave to the guys GF. lol. the difference is that he didnt record anything he just played. i wonder how many other players there were like that. absolutely awesome people and highly skilled but just didnt give a shit about fame.

The bow itself had damage higher than other bows in game at the time + damage added from best arrows one could get, as well as the best ranged attack speed bonus the equipped quiver would give, not stackable with an actual quiver, all was included in the bow, it was a godsent legendary. Thoridal, the star's fury - 162.8 dps Black bow of the betrayer - 95.8 dps (drop from illidan) best obtainable arrows - +53 dps (excluding arrows generated by the legendary bow durning kael'thas fight +63 dps) Now go do some research yourself if you don't believe me

Damn, it's fascinating how much WoW has declined over the years, they went from one of the best developers ever to one of the worst.
