- In this video we celebrate the life and legacy of Martial Arts Master and Silver Screen Legend Bruce Lee on the occasion of 50 years since his untimely death on July 20, 1973.
A good sized crowd of family, friends and fans gathered in Seattle's Lakeview Cemetery to pay their respects on this beautiful summer day in the sunshine. We dedicate this video to all those who take the time to come here and remember his artistry in their own way, not just on this special day, but every day of the year.

I’m 58 years old I remember his movies
I’m Turkish origin I use to watch his movies in Istanbul/Turkey I was 8 years old at the time, I was so mesmerized with his movies, I was to young to comprehend his passing.He was a Legend absolutely legend.
He was great American martial artist and a human being.I’m still watching his movies over and over.

It’s so emotional I’m growing up man still I get tear to my eyes.What a shame world loss a Legend most people they don’t comprehend his skills and ability. I dearly miss him.
I was just a young kid when he died. Nobody had seen any of his movies. But we all knew who he was. I remember having his poster on my wall. The world lost an incredible man. If he'd continued in the film business, what amazing films he would have made!

It’s amazing to this day 50years later how Bruce Lee still impacts martial arts and has new generations of fans enjoying his movies kids practicing his moves. So sad he died so young and very sad about Brandon Lee he would have gone on to be a super star. He did such a great job in The Crow.

Mr Lee was an inspiration not just to some or a few but to many. I've had many struggles in my life and I remember reading about the advice he gave his friend Taky: "When you have problems, just walk on." 55 years later, I am still walking on. Thank you, Sifu. 😊😊🙏

Thank you for posting this. I've followed Bruce since September 1974 when I was 16 years old. I've been aware of this 50th anniversary milestone for a long time, I'm mortified that I didn't make the pilgrimage from Wales, UK 🙏🏻

I had a similar experience. I was 14 in 1973 and was already hooked on the Kung Fu TV series with David Carradine. (Still one of the best TV shows every made, IMO, the first season was absolutely brilliant). So I thought I would check out this Enter The Dragon movie that was showing downtown. I was blown away! I immediately went out and bought the soundtrack album. Then I commisioned an artistic friend to draw a flourescent dragon on my bedroom wall. It looked magnificent. After that I went back to the theater alone and watched the movie 2 more times. It was about 2 weeks after I watched the movie the first time I think, that I heard the news that Bruce had died. Just utter disbelief and shock. I signed up for Karate classes soon after ( couldn't find any Kung Fu teachers) and practiced it for about a year. And when the Chinese Connection and Fists of Fury came to town, I ran out and watched them a couple of times as well. But there was always that sinking feeling that we would never see more of this amazing martial artist and personality. The things he could have done, with more time. Anyway, he was a big part of my youth and probably shaped who I am today in his own way.
