Hello, my friend. Hope you had a joyful start of 2025! I like to pay homage to the cemeteries in the places I visit. They are often beautiful, surrounded by greenery or have historic tombs, very old or tombs of famous people. And Pere Lachaise is an important cemetery. I had never seen the resting places of these famous and important people. Among all, my beloved Oscar Wilde, the writer I love the most. A genius. This tour was really interesting, my friend. The Jim Morrison grave is rather unassuming, isn't it? Buried, quite literally in the middle of a bunch of other graves. I would imagine people sneak in after hours to visit it. The Edith Piaf grave is much more eloquent. This may surprise you, but the grave of Chopin would be the centerpiece for me, I listen to his works frequently. BTW, I saw the Polish flag and I had no idea he was actually Polish, lol. The Oscar Wilde grave surprised me, I wasn't expecting such an artsy monument. Fun fact, my father worked as a chauffeur for a London movie studio, and one of his assignments one year was as the chauffeur for Simone Signoret for the film 'Room at the top'. He would drive her to and from her hotel and he was even an extra in the film as a taxi driver :) Wonderful video, I love visiting old graves and I have no doubt you could have made a second video due to all the famous people buried there.

It wouldn't be a French market without the bread, eh? I always enjoy markets that are underneath train tracks, mostly for the reasons you mentioned. If you take a train somewhere and it rains, you get a bonus trip through the market until it clears. One thing that I learned about France many years ago is that if you at least 'try' to speak a little French, they will speak in English to you :) Did you buy anything from the market on the way back? I would have had a hard time not stopping to at least try something, and the prices didn't seem too bad at all. Understandable really being that it is locals shopping there.

Все таки в России кладбище отличается. У нас что при жизни отгораживаються забором друг от друга, что при смерти. Ещё и лавку, столик, обязательно бухнуть.

That's a very New York way of dealing with things... "If you are just going to stand there hogging it up, I'm coming in" 😂 Maybe there is an event there and they are the first to arrive, but still :) That was a pleasant sounding bird that made you tilt your camera up, a very clear sound, and loud. Now I'm seeing more people having to navigate around the welcome party, it must be difficult to pay your respects in a situation like that. I know I'm going on about it a bit, but I guess it is the way I was brought up. If I had an event I would stand out of everyone's way until my party arrived. One time I arrived to film a NY grave, and when I got there a couple was having lunch on the concrete bench that made up part of the memorial. I'm not kidding either, brown bagging it on someone's grave, lol.

Great shot of the ducks at the start looking over the river. The view from the Funicular was indeed wonderful to see, fantastic that you had such a clear day to film it. The color of the city from above looks a bit bland, but at the same time it has a wonderful classic feel to it. Looking at the steps on the way down, it looks like you made the right choice to take the Funicular up, lol. That was an enjoyable trip around the city, Verona isn't a place you normally see on RUclips as a travel video.
