Hello, my friend. I truly like to enjoy Markets above all when I'm abroad. Always nice and interesting to discover even more a city! Nicely done! Warmest wishes and all the best! renata
It wouldn't be a French market without the bread, eh? I always enjoy markets that are underneath train tracks, mostly for the reasons you mentioned. If you take a train somewhere and it rains, you get a bonus trip through the market until it clears. One thing that I learned about France many years ago is that if you at least 'try' to speak a little French, they will speak in English to you :) Did you buy anything from the market on the way back? I would have had a hard time not stopping to at least try something, and the prices didn't seem too bad at all. Understandable really being that it is locals shopping there.
We didn't buy anything because we returned a different way and anyway I'm not sure I could have found it again, we were just wandering in the general direction of the Eiffel Tower and were actually a few blocks off course when we stumbled across the market and said, "Oh, we should film this". Wasn't planned at all, which is sometimes the best plan! Thanks for the comment!
