The shawl is lovely ! Very pretty colors. Just Feel Better is excellent name for it. The striping you chose is particularly nice....I like it a lot ! When I was a little girl & got sick, it always lifted my spirits when my mom brushed my hair. And as an adult, when I've been sick, it definitely helps to take a shower, put on fresh clothes instead of pj's, comb/brush hair. Oh, those charms you showed from Hobby Lobby, I have those...super cute. Jupiter....YES ! Very cool, for sure ! We have looked up at the night sky & noticed very bright "stars", too, & then realized that's a planet. Seems amazing. Tonight I finished a crochet thread filet crochet wall hanging. Yah ! It's to be a gift for someone...a surprise ! The Feel Better shawl is SO pretty....good thing you knew about color catchers!! That shawl is massive .
It’s massive and I love it so much. My mother-in-law wrapped in it during Jason’s funeral. She didn’t know its significance but I did 🙂

I love love love my clover amours and I won’t use any other hooks. They’re so comfortable to use and I like the way they glide through yarn. I started with just one, then had to save up for a set even though I had a bunch of other hooks. I got rid of most of the other hooks because I just couldn’t go back to using them lol

Love the shawl. It's like sunshine! Good fabric finds too. I think the yarn ball dress sounds perfect for you! Weirdly I was sat watching this podcast hooking with my new Clover Amour purple hook that arrived this afternoon. I prefer the tapered hooks too.
Am thinking that you should write a book or something to utilise the stuff you have learned about dealing with mental health issues. I know the list was the accumulation of responses you received from other people but you put it together and used it in a powerful way. You have so much to say.
Ooh a book would be really cool. I use to keep a blog... maybe I could share things on a new one 🤔 The wheels are turning in my brain on this!

Hi Caleisha, thanks so much for your video. I am wondering if you do have a video for beginning the shawl; I'm having difficulty getting it started, especially with the explanation for Row5 and Row 6. Thank you!
Hi Carolyn! Row 6 is basically a double increase row. You will be working a (3dc, ch1) twice into the last ch1 space AND a (3dc,ch1,3dc) into the ch4 space. When did you download the pattern? I have reworded the instructions for that row and updated the file as of sept 2019. If you downloaded it before then, i recommend deleting the file you have and downloading the update. That way you have the new clarification.
@@QuirkyMonday Hi Caleisha, thanks so much for getting back to me. I do have the most current pattern. I guess my question is what's the difference between "into each ch1 space" and "in ch4 space"? To me, it's the same thing but I'm obviously missing something. The space in the ch1 area is smaller than the ch4 area. Is this the only difference?
@@carolynadams2264 ch1 space is between your 3dc where you only chain 1 and the ch4 space is the chain 4 or the turning chain. I instruct to work into the space instead of into the actual chain as is typical.

Thank you! If I used acrylic yarn I pin it out and steam it with an iron. If I used wool blend yarn I soak then pin and let dry. 👍🏽👍🏽
I had been working on just feel better shawl .it's not getting larger so why don't you crochet the pattern on youtube. WHAT am I doing wrong.

I dont quite understand your question. Are you asking why don't i make a video to show how to make the shawl on youtube? If thats what you're asking, i simply dont like making tutorials. :)
