So great to see you back Caleisha! You are THE most creative podcaster I follow on RUclips, the range of crafts and projects you turn your hand to is very inspiring. Loved all your projects - especially the plastic granny square bag and the drop spindles...and the summer tanks! Gorgeous. I have read 2 of the Twisted Tales and have loved them both - As Old As Time and....ooo can't remember the name but the Aladdin one :) Looking forward to reading more of them. Loved the quote at the end xx

Thank you for your openness about your health. It’s hard to ask for help then trying to find a therapist that is a good fit is another challenge. I am thankful that I can now recognize when I’m going down that path. I’ve had my meds changed but it’s going to be at least a month before I will start feeling better. It sucks but it was the safer option. Stay strong my sister, sending you positive energy and hugs.

Sending hugs and strength. I’m here for you. Great quote! One of my sons spent 5 years really struggling with his mental health. Thank goodness the right doctor met his at the right time, and he was finally able to turn things around. He was my bright spot from your last video-he just graduated from college!
Happy Anniversary! Your projects all look so good! Your tie dye bag looks ice dyed. You’re brave recording outside in the Florida summer. I think those bugs were using power tools! Always great to see Tootie. Hugs and prayers to you. ❤

Hey Caleisha, so nice to watch this video today 😊 Thanks for showing up in *my* universe. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and moving in a better direction. Interestingly, I finished reading "Challenger Deep" last week. What a powerful book. I read it in book form and I did read it slowly and took some pauses. Your makes are lovely and your spindle is gorgeous! ❤❤❤ Susannah

Oh my goodness, I loved your quote! I had to grab a post it note pad and write it down for myself. You don’t know how much I needed to hear that . Now I have it written down, I can look at it everyday until it sinks in . So I have two bright spots , you and your special quote and I got to enjoy a family BBQ today. Thank you 💜

Hi Caleisha, I love all the tops you've made! Also love your spindle and your sunflower idea. Tuti sure is a sweetheart. I happen to love the sound of the cicada bugs that were interrupting you, that is the male mating call lol. They have just come out here in Chicagoland. I guess it's like the lawn sprinkler sound, good ASMR ☺ Take good care ❤

Caleisha how wonderful that you are making your own drop spindles! The one that you showed is absolutely beautiful! You are so inspiring with all of your makes….I too am participating (albeit quietly) in Tour de Fleece….just utilizing the time to spin up the mounds of fiber that I own! Best to you and always sending out good vibes!!

Thanks for your honesty. You always inspire me with your just give it ago attitude. It's yarn it's not hard, it's just new. ( That last bit is definitely a GG made it saying!) I hope that your up swing, comes soon and stays for a long time.
I have just started to learn to spin, I had a stroke well over ten years ago, I have residual left side weakness in my hand especially. I am using a mayan spinner as I can more easily park and draft that.
You give me inspiration with everything you try. I am so tempted to give tie dye another go. 😂 Crafts I am trying and not always succeeding in doing - embroidery, knitting, spinning , sewing, sour dough bread making / baking. I currently have over 5 knitting projects on my needles two blanket projects, socks, baby cardigan (for NICU), my first colourwork sweater for me so it's not small, a vertices Unite shawl. I get stressed out if I have more than three.
I am trying to make time for making everyday. It helps to lift my mood and make me feel good about my making. Even if it's just 10 mins on a sock, it's better than nothing.
My youngest kid says, why are you knitting another shawl, you never wear them. But I love making them! That's why.

I love the library. It has some great programs. I am taking part in the adult summer reading club. It is a bingo for my local library. My daughter is doing the teen summer reading club. Positive vibes heading your way.

I've been thinking about how to thank you for this podcast -- I so enjoy hearing about everything you're doing. This time I also want to thank you for your frankness about getting through tough times. This has been a very hard year for me and it's hard when things feel unrelenting to remember that eventually things can get better. A reminder I'm trying to take to heart :)

Our library summer reading program for adults is to read/listen to 4 books. We got a coupon book and a tote bag with landmarks from around our library system on it. The item changes every year and last year was a tote bag too.
I used to be a sign language interpreter. It is a useful language .
I know the bugs are disrespectful, but I still love to hear them.😂
