I get the sets like this for the articulated animals. I really like them, they may not be the best but still an awesome addition to the shelf.
I'm a sucker for the 90s blue/black/gray Snake Eyes that looks like he's about hit the slopes. I have no explanation why.
I love this modern design of Snake Eyes. They’re going for the Ninja/Special Operator look with those military pants because that’s what he is. He’s a member of the Arashikage ninja clan along with Storm Shadow and was a special forces operator in Nam. I love the overall look, and love the helmet also which is one of the earliest designs for him. So they’re paying homage to his history here.
I’m glad you mentioned the sword scabbard. The amount of times I see swords being placed incorrectly on a figure, on a daily basis, is staggering.
I like the all black ninja Snake Eyes with the visor...the "ninja commando" look with the skin tight pants. The look introduced on the Snake Eyes v2 figure and that was prominent during the late 80s Larry Hama GI Joe comic run.
I bought this figure and put the head and all the grey straps on the wave 1 version. Best of both worlds.
Question of the day... I like the more modern look with the silver LaForge style visor. Maybe comic style with some silver and/or gray accents.
I passed on this set since I have the first Snake Eyes, as well as the previous Timber Set. This set is pretty much the first Snake Eyes will Alley Viper weapons, and Sgt. Stalker's shemagh. The last set at least gave us the more tactical version of Snake Eyes which used Beach Head's body.
My favorite snake eyes is all black Ninja. This is a great set. I've never been a fan of drop down hips either. They don't help much and often just get in the way.
This is the coloring of snake eyes I've been waiting for, very happy to here it's nose as loose and floppy as the last couple of figures using this body.
All black forsure. The original commando look is the best
Got mine for 12 at Ross! Absolutely worth it for that. Im gonna make him a low effort custom or kitbash and paint the wolf grey or brown

Got this ordered, was holding my breath hoping it would actually be good… yay!
The boots on this one are different from the 00, 02, Alpha Commandos, desert commando AND retro carded releases, so that's a thing.
I like a commando/ninja hybrid look for SE so the 00 Deluxe version fits the bill perfectly. This one is a close second.

I recently found your channel and I've watched a bunch of your videos.
I mainly buy figures for my drawing. I'll pose them, then draw the pose. A new video idea would be a top 10 best articulated figures. As long as the figure looks like the character, I'm cool with that. I'm way more interested in the pose-ability of the figure. Also, a top 10 female figures would be great was well. My shelf is very "sausage heavy". My price range is in the 20/30 dollar range. Thank you.

I love pretty much all versions of Snake Eyes. Really would like to get the one with the red visor and blue in the outfit at some point. Not sure why. Just like it. 😁
Basically I just took the movie version snake eyes wth the all-black outfit and I switched the head,but you have to switch the neck piece also! Add the grenade chest strap and swords,take the arm bands off and leg straps!put them on the movie version and WA-LA! you now have a custom G1 snake eyes! Try it you'll see! Then compare the old school one to the one you've now created!...YOUR WELCOME!😁💪🏾
Aside from the berreta and the uzi the extra guns are from the alley viper
Best boi timber and 00 snake back at it again if i didnt already have the commando snake eyes and timber set id be way more enticed
LOL that last picture with Darwin. I prefer the all black snake eyes like the one i had back in the 80s. My biggest issue with the classified series so far is their guns. I had to get some custom weapons packs off ebay and an Action force weapons pack. The baroness had the worst weapons i took a rifle from one of my alley vipers and have her displayed with that. Tomax and Xamot came with MP5 like weapons and look great.
I bought this guy as a replacement for my original retail release Snake Eyes. Still probably one of my favorite Classified figures, even if...mmm...there have been a few figures that have come out since that original release that are arguably just as good if not better (Storm Shadow definitely comes to mind).
I prefer Storm Shadow to Snake Eyes so not interested in that figure, but if they released a pack of just the wolves? I'd totally buy ''em.

It's like when people get get accessories they complain and if they do get accessories they complain..Be happy and satisfied that it comes with some stuff..something is better than nothing.
Mine came without 5 of the accessories 😢😢😢

I got this set the other day. I’ve never been a huge fan of Commando Snake Eyes, I mean.. he’s a ninja and I want him as a ninja. This has replaced my 00 Snake Eyes.
Looks good, but no actual military member would use a Blackhawk Serpa holster ..... But that's a small gripe .... Great review as always
4:38 I'm into Warhammer 40k so I'm used to seeing some really stupid-looking guns but that mag is just something else.

Same here. The "origins" movie is my favorite as well. We belong to a minority. 😅
I prefer my snake eyes to be in all, or almost all, black. I like the ninja look with the visor, but have some hint of the commando origins, so toss on some combat boots and web gear of some type.
This sculpt pretty much hits that balance, I'm just not a huge fan of this series because the single carded figure I have of him is very floppy and feels over engineered, while also feeling cheap.

Liked this version, though the fortnite one looks good too, but should have come with wolfie too, cause the price kind of kills it, as those accessories that it comes with kind of don't work for me.

I just wasn't clear. You want the waist under the ab crunch. You also want the diagram over the ab crunch. No change. I just can't brain anymore since the baby has kept me from sleeping for 8 months

Try making him left handed, the scabbard won't be backwards anymore. All my figures are left handed :)

I don't get what you mean when you say that you'd prefer his torso joints reversed. It's the same thing you say when you see the reverse ab-crunch! Every time Marvel team uses it, you say that's not a good set-up

This pack is the biggest cash grab Hasbro ever did ... They re-painted the previous pack but throw in all the weapons you probably already have from other releases. I skipped this... i mean this is not a must have... not when you got the new retro snake eyes atleast.
Kudos for having legit Weapons knowledge. 🤙 the sheathe thing kills me with toys.
