This pattern will help guide you to create your very own shawl that is loosely crocheted with some open stitches for added breathability. It is so easy to make, you'll be able to make one in every color in no time!
You will need a 6mm hook and approximately 570 yards of worsted yarn. I highly recommend cotton for the warmer months.

What is the multiple for this pattern? I may want to adjust the size. Thank you so much. This is very pretty!

Thank you so much for your interest! I just drew it out (because math and I aren't always friends haha) and from 15 on, you'll be able to complete the sequence on every 4th number from there. So 15, 19, 23, 27, and so on. I hope that makes sense!

What a very beautiful pattern. If i may ask, if i don't have the cotton yarn, would it still work out using a 3 weight yarn instead?

Thank you! And yes, the pattern can still technically work using a lighter yarn with modifications. You would need to start with a larger foundation than 55, however, and measure it out. The pattern should still work if you’re adding multiples of 4, so 59, 63, 67, etc. And then when you reach your repetitions in the pattern, you would simply need to repeat the instructed rows a couple more times and measure along the way.

@@cecelianelson9303 hello! I do have a video for foundation double crochet but if you prefer, doing a regular foundation chain followed but a row of double crochets is perfectly fine and will give you the same result!
