You should definitely keep going with Fringe. The central mystery in that one is a solid story; they take their time with it, but they were also clearly not just making it up as they went along. Have you ever seen Counterpart? That's another great one, only two seasons (cancelled too soon), but phenomenal. Oh, the Witcher is great, although I don't think I liked season 2, either. Just the 1st was great for me, but it is fantastic once you work how the timeline works. There is a trick, I don't want to spoil it, but once you see how it fits together it changes quite a lot. It might be worth getting yourself spoiled if you think the show is too confusing, but I don't want that on me.
