- This video shows how to get the Pacific Achievement and unlock Black & White Mode and Vintage Music in Cuphead. In order to do this, you need to play through all of the platforming levels and get P grades.
This channel features transformative & instructional video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns & many other unique creations. My own personal gameplay, creative input & editing is clearly added into each video and thus all videos adhere to RUclips's partner program guidelines. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.

If you look closely at the enemies and minibosses, you'll see that a lot of them have yellow eyes. Most of the bosses' eyes also turn yellow in their final phases, as well. Finally, the Devil's eyes are yellow.
This means that by the events of this game, pretty much everyone on Inkwell Isle is under the Devil's thumb.

What I would have said differently to op was that the yellow eyes just signify more villainous intent, like red pupils do.

@@CutsiePie_ that would make sense until you realize the fact that the Devil wants Cuphead and Mugman to retrieve everyone’s soul contract that they owe him, so it wouldn’t make sense for the Devil to be controlling them since he would only be making the brother’s jobs harder thereby hurting himself in the process
Every enemy can be spared and bosses may be fought but they don't actually die, and at the end of the game, the contracts are burned and everybody lives again. In other words, you can go through this game without killing anybody and still save the day.
Very nice touch and what a real hero would do.

Yeah they don't show up at the end. But since burning the soul contracts releases the debtor and brings them back we can assume that they came back too.
Luxai goopy dies as a crypt, wally is eaten and dr kahl is a mad scientist so i don't know about dr kahl's robot
We don't know what happens to Wally. But hey, we spared him anyways. As for Goopy, we got no real reason to believe he died. In a world where people have cups for heads, I do not doubt a gravestone doesn't need to mean dead.
Luxai Wally was eaten by the paramedics and cuphead destroyed Goopys grave as well.
Okay, didn't even realize BW mode would make it trickier all because you can't distinguish pink objects then. Now that would be great to see in a speedrun!

This seems harder than getting no damage because not only do you have to avoid everything, but you can't kill anything. Bravo to you for doing all of this!

In some ways it's actually easier. Standing around killing everything actually makes a lot of these sections really hard.
That bee boss in the second level there is complete RNG whether he knocks you off the leaf, but in pacifist all you have to do is jump past him which is actually a pretty easy jump.
A lot of others require you to stand around dodging projectile after projectile when you can easily just run past them. The balloons in the circus tent for example. You blow them up and you are almost certain to get hit. But why kill them when you can easily walk past them.

These levels are so severly underrated. I LOVE Rugged Ridge and Im sad people always talk about the bosses but never the run n guns. Theyre all so unique.

There’s something so subtle and satisfying about Cuphead’s regular running animation. That and you can pay attention to all the other music and sound effects of the level when watching a pacifist run.

Today I started my pacifist life in Cuphead (after finishing the game + dlc), and today I almost went from pacifist to true genocide!
I'm glad I managed my way before that could happen.

I got all pacifist rank and I was so happy as well, but I spent like 2.5 days on that level and I had a mental brake down but when I beat I threw my controller at the wall because of happiness

Good job bro. I also got that achievement. I had mostly trouble at Rugger Ridge and Perilous Piers, and somehow a little bit at Funfair Fever. Damn it felt good to have done. Mostly they didn't took me too long
I love how Cuphead makes the effort to dodge all the enemies attacks, but yet the minibosses end up dying anyways because he made it to the end.

I just realised the Octopus in the Sea Level reminds me of Jelly the Octopus from the Never Implemented Airship Level! Jelly had a ball on her/his head that you could parry just like the other Octopus! Wow. XD

Doesn’t anyone think that smoke mob is a bit to op in several situations. It can even be used to beat king dice by smoke bombing to back of his hand for some cheap shots. It can also just make u move faster overall.
U can even use it to skip the mini bosses

This is impressive. Cup head is all about trial and error (blisteringly fast reaction and precognition as well) but these levels are hard enough this is kinda crazy tbh. Never tried though my finger is permanently holding y...i play on switch

I suggest using Super Arts 2 for most of mini bosses. Only for the ones in the end though. Using the Super Arts 2 doesn’t count as damage to the player. And for a short time you deal no damage. It’s very useful.
Now, I need just to do rugged ridge and perilous piers on pacifist, because other four I already did for P rank. Now I just can feel what hell awaits for me.
