Nowadays, there are certain features on the app that require you to pay for a subscription, like a blue check even when you’re not a verified account, or, X Premium, stuff like that. So that’s basically their eay of making money from the app with unecessary paid subscriptions and all huhuhu. That’s why several people don’t like X/Twitter anymore.
