Sonny proving he wasn't just Kane's sidekick. Irked me a lot when people were asking where Spurs will get goals from, now that Kane's gone. Son reminding people that he was golden boot only season before last, from the wide position no less. Now he's central striker, he can replicate Kane-like goals output, especially if he's on pens now too.
Absolutely. People saying “Spurs won’t be top half” & “They’re 30 goals worse off” & all that nonsense, like we’re playing with ten men or something. I agree but speaking of penalties, we haven’t had one yet. Arsenal have had 7. (SEVEN).
Well get goals now weve got a free-kick specialist. Its something weve been missing out on since Eriksson left. So itll contribute to the goals what we are gonna apparently miss!!
@@indianastones6032 But that’s just it, we’re not missing Kanes goals. We’re not playing with ten men, we’ve still got 11. We haven’t had a penalty yet & Maddison hasn’t scored a free kick either. We’ll score & are scoring plenty now. We’re also a much better team without Kane.

i thought it was just unbelievably bad luck on my part that one of my favourite channels happened to have this previously unseen issue causing havok, nice to know i'm not suffering all by my lonesome
Even though we won, I deleted all RUclips vlogs concerning whether Spurs were lucky, or if VAR was biased and unfair! How much have we suffered with unjust or unfair refereeing in the past? Last week, Nketieh tried to chop Vic's leg and only got a yellow! Champions League final, we had a penalty against us in the first minutes, was that fair? Have some of that, rest of the Premiership!
Honestly not our fault Liverpool lost the plot on the pitch. They are perfectly capable of beating teams with 10 men, but they were the ones getting emotional and ruining their own gameplan
Ange didn't do any clever coaching and you had run out of ideas against 9 men.... With Spurs having the 11 players and the ref and VAR playing for them!!! Which ever way you look at it.... If you're honest with yourselves you know you were gifted the game and didn't deserve anything to it!!!
It’s refreshing to hear you talk reasonably about the game. It’s insane to hear the takes of pundits, whether they’re ex-Liverpool or not about the match, you’d think a ref has never made a mistake before. Love the videos
Vicario is one of the rare few goalkeepers that I’ve seen really track deflections effectively and stay balanced and in a good position to make the save. By far the part of his game that immediately wowed me. That’s easily a few extra saves a season just on its own.
I’m so glad Alasdair you mentioned about rivals fans complaining about other fans celebrating, it drives me mad 😡 that’s what football is all about! We was fortunate with the terrible officials but I’ll gladly take the 3 points , spurs have suffered enough injustices over the years even before VAR came into play & many against Liverpool in recent seasons Keep up the fantastic content as always 👍🔵⚪️👊⚽️ COYS
If it was Liverpool who got the result just like we did, theyd be just like we are now. Let their fans and media cry about it all they want cus the result wont change!
Liverpool players getting red cards have no one else to blame but themselves, how many times have we heard Ange say he Coaches his squad to be disciplined? Calm? Clear headed? Patient? Look how Ange has turned around Romero’s attitude with 7 games in no reckless tackles no red cards…That’s all part of Coaching so Liverpool have nothing to complain about & on the flip side Spurs caused those red cards by applying relentless pressure. Even with Liverpool having 11 players Spurs still dominated 60% of possession before they were red carded & we missed opportunities could have been 3-1 by half time - Richy’s post & offside, Madders left footer ect ect ..all these if’s & buts that’s Football Spurs fully deserve the win.
After following this team for the past 22 years Spurs are FINALLY, just once enjoying a mishap......I can't even begin to count how many times I've seen us on the opposite side. So.....WOO HOO!!!!! 🎉🎊🎉🎊👏👏👏👏
For those not in the know, TJ Ramini is a British actor and a massive Spurs fan. He appeared in a number of British TV series from the mid-90s through 2007 including regular or recurring roles in _Casualty_ and _The Bill._ Subsequently, he moved to Los Angeles where he appeared in recurring roles in _NCIS_ and _24_ among others. He has also appeared in a number of films. TJ obviously noted Big Ange's comments in Friday's press conference about supporting Liverpool in his youth and being a _Happy Days_ fan, saying that times move on and that he no longer had Kenny Dalglish and Fonz posters on his bedroom wall. By sheer coincidence, TJ happens to be a close friend of Henry Winkler's son and he referred Ange's comments to him. Yesterday evening, TJ was a panel member (not for the first time) on the _Last Word On Spurs_ post-match live RUclips show and podcast. During the course of the programme, TJ received a video message on his phone which turned out to be Henry Winkler's message to Big Ange saying, "If I sign a poster and send it to you, will you put it up on your wall?"
That vid has made news in Australia being shown on sports panel show the offsiders. The offsiders is the very same show which had Ange as a panelist during the period when he could not get a coaching job.
I think he's probably an "Evangelos". That would be his full name. Common contractions of this name are either Angelos or Vangelis. Shame about the angels thing though....it sounds like a miracle is required. It's all a bit fluffy etsi then enai?
Cheers Big A. The atmosphere in the stadium is something else. 2 games on the trot I’ve come home with injuries from last minute celebrations. Definitely getting our moneys worth. Football followed by a music concert / dance.
Thanks for the video Alasdair. I see that you are emulating Spurs games by making your videos longer! Totally agree with you about Porro. He is like a new player this season. Great coaching by Matty Wells - I hope Spurs can retain him long term (I am sure his grandfather would welcome that as well!). It is great to see the team and the fans all enjoying themselves again. Even the celebrations this season are more joyous and exhilarating than the in the past. Seeing the young players dancing and jigging in front of the fans is great. For all their virtues, it is hard to imagine the old guard of players like Kane, Lloris and Dier joining in with the celebrations in such a jubilant manner.
You can't imagine how joyful it is to start a vid of yours when everything is rosy like that within Spurs. So thanks again for doing this during your free time, Alasdair. 👍
What was so nice (ignoring the main VAR decision) was for once doing to Liverpool what they have done to us in many crucial games against them , namely being given advantageous decisions that were clearly wrong or scoring last minute winners . It was so sweet to cause that pain to them for once getting the added time winner. I said last week if we could win this game, the confidence levels could only grow under Ange . I'm sure Ange is drilling into them not to get complacent because our season really could be special. Thanks AG for the time and information you put into your videos which all of the spurs fans really appreciate . COYS
Ali G, much like Premier League games this year, finally giving us the added time we deserve. 100 minutes of absolute gold! You mention how things pop out of your head, and you feel a barrier popping up when you try to think about what you've forgotten. For short to medium term memory, it's actually proven that age has very little impact. As you age, you just become more aware of those moments. You're looking to confirm the socially accepted view that your memory gets worse as you age. There's nothing wrong with your noggin! You'll be a top class reporter for many many years to come.
family members have had stroke related dementia --- I work in music, its full on, a million miles an hour - and sometime s I have brain fart and forget what I'm wanting to say --- but you seem 10000% on it all the time, Alastair --- and that was one hellva day! we want you to talk about yourself --- these vids are as much about spurs as it it about you! that why we love listening / watching / looking forward all all these uploads :)
Thanks, Ali. I’m happy for the win and not apologizing for it at all. I don’t care that the media is all about how Liverpool got robbed. We won and that’s that. We did seem to struggle when playing against 10/9 men. I hope you can ask Ange if you get a chance does he train or will he train the players on how to attack in those situations and against teams who play with a low block. Neville mentioned that Man U had a certain system they would use in those situations. Just wondering if he’s going to address that. Thanks again! COYS! 🙏🏽🙌🏾
Another great video - what a game. The VAR controversy is likely to rumble for a while and hopefully won’t lead to any issues for the team and supporters at the reverse fixture. The atmosphere at the moment is absolutely incredible- both before with the trumpet player and at the end when it was absolutely rocking. Yes we rode our luck and they should have had another goal but it’s nice to finally enjoy the rub of the green for once. Saw a video of people leaving the field and going down the tunnel at the end and it was interesting to see Hojberg going down the tunnel when most of the team were celebrating on the pitch - at least that’s how it looked on the video I saw. Exciting times - long may it continue!!
Hi Alasdair, well for a change we got the rub off the green against liverpool, it's still three points if it had been the other way then they would not be complaining. Thanks for the update. Stay safe and well. COYS.
I think not having European football could be a blessing is disguise , we have Bentencur and Gill to come back both good players, hopefully we can get through to January and get a quality centre back to strengthen that position.
Do you really think it was an accident that Spurs "first team" weren't on the field during the match, win or lose didn't matter as there was an upside either way.
Højbjerg came off the pitch about 3 and a half minutes before the rest of the team started coming off and it did look like he wasn't too happy. Glad we got the winner late on and happy to have some good luck go our way for a change.
I always miss question time with Alastair. I'd love to know how Ryan Mason is feeling after going for the manager role now being assistant but training players the way he likes to play/ish (positive)
You see I would feel bad for Liverpool but I can’t after all the numerous times they’ve had horrific refereeing decisions go against us in recent memory I really can’t empathise with them
Sissoko CL handball is a lifetime of not feeling bad for Liverpool - that decision always haunts... especially as they reinstated a ball to hand proximity rule the following season
Thanks for another informative video, Alasdair. Exciting times for Spurs! I hope Hojberg doesn’t get too discouraged as he’s made many valuable contributions. I especially enjoyed your comments on the Postecoglu training philosophy and hope you follow up with your questions regarding Ryan Mason et al.
Some of the calls that haven't gone our way against Liverpool over the last few years have been ridiculous, this is starting to break even. Liverpool do deserve credit for the way they defended but it's simply a case of pay back is a bitch a little bit of justice in our win. What I think the game showed us is the lack of depth we have on the bench, I would have liked to have seen Donnolly come on instead of Skipp, someone with a bit more imagination perhaps. We showed however that we have the ability to stay at it for the whole game and that's what got us the 3 points and that's what counts. As for the Jones sending off the same thing should happened to the Arsenal player on Vicario last week, does it depend on the home team advantage? Have a great week, look after yourself, take care.
Goodbye grey skies, hello blue, indeed. Not only has Big A transformed the first team but his magic has rubbed off on the youth squads too. And now, he seems to be, single-handedly, and by wily use of our love for all things retro, doing a much better PR job than our media department ever did. To dare is to do but right now we fans are daring to dream.
Thanks for getting the video out, Ali. Love everything Ange is doing. Think he’s doing more than what we’ve asked of him. Think we need to talk more the drop in quality when Davies and Skipp came on. It’s like we go from being a top 3 to a bottom 3 team when the subs come on.
How much can subs do coming on so late? Skipp & Davies are quality players just not starting games does not mean they are not important members of the squad but playing 15-20 minutes doesn’t allow you to dominate games. Ange is rebuilding the squad with youth so don’t you want players like Phillips, Veliz, Donley on the bench & integrating them into the games? These kids are the future but they just can’t be rushed into the team & having experienced players like Davies on the bench helps their growth & development.
A bit harsh!, we've won 2 of the last 3 games in added time after our subs came on!. Perisic, Johnson and Richarlison changed the game against Sheffield Utd. We just need a Madison replacement because our offensive passing drops off massively when he leaves the pitch, maybe Betancur and Gill will help on their return? COYS.
After the crappy sissoko penalty in the CL final we deserved that - yep lucky as hell but so what, you ride your luck and Ange is making all of Australia proud as well!
Spurs has passed all the test so far. The players show that they will fight for the win. Its real good watching Spurs again. Playing as a team. Players giving there all for the badge. To add Mr Gold is looking better then the other seasons. Amazing what supporting a winning team playing great football does to fans.
What test are you referring to? The one where Spurs had to score a goal against a team with 2 men down? I don't think an OG should qualify. It was pretty painful to watch.
You can't seriously tell me that there are Spurs fans out there that are treating this as some sort of 'Ange masterclass'. It's a hollow victory, be glad you got the win but to celebrate it is just embarrassing
Spurs are playing a brand of football and are on a high right now that even rival fans have to come a Spurs channel to give there opinion so they can be part of the feel good factor that is happening at Spurs right now lol. @@paulmartin9194
Have they really forgotten how they scored a last gasp winner against us at home through a player that should not have even been on the pitch? Did they not celebrate? Karma is a b***h
Jota had commited 2 or 3 trips before his 1st yellow frankly I was shocked he was not booked earlier. The VAR system needs to go I am sure they supported the team on the pitch and gave a crazy decision to support them, all mates together, as a result much of the joy in football is being ruined
Agree and disagree. VAR technology works, it's the human error/communication that messed up here. Not sure if you've read the audio transcript but it's a shambles. That being said, it's an easy fix. After the review they simply need to communicate either "GOAL" or "NO GOAL". It really is that easy!
Great video Alasdair. I'm so glad you mentioned the unjustified yellow for Destiny as it led to Liverpool's goal. And yet none of the pundits wanted to mention that. That game yesterday was full-on karma. Doesn't even get close to cancelling out all the decisions that have gone Liverpool's way over us. And yet the the only bad decision against Liverpool was the goal. Definite two red cards. The Liverpool persecution complex only needs a slight nudge to send the conspiracy theorists into overdrive and much of the radio is about that today. Let them focus on all that rubbish and Ange will keep our feet on the ground. COYS!
100% correct about the Postman Ali, his performances have been really good. What has impressed me the most abot Porro is you can see there is a determination to improve his defensive work and it's showing 9n the pitch.
Great result. I cannot believe the ridiculous media overreaction about the disallowed goal. If we'd been on the receiving end, there's no way there'd be such an outcry.
Ali Gold is one of the tiny few who actually keeps ya up to date with all things Spurs related about the players and our loanees along with our academy! Throw in film/tv quotes, dad jokes and a cameo from Indy all for the love of supporting Spurs and not just to make money from clickbait content!
While it is always worth hearing many people’s points of view, understanding a wide array of perspective’s; there is one man’s opinion I value above all others’ and have been waiting on the edge of my seat to hear… and he just posted a video. Happy Ali Gold day Spurs fans.
I am worried that playing Spurs with a low block is going to become a "thing" as that is the one thing that seems to stymie us. I hope this is a transitory thing as I hope Ange has some answers (training and tactics) for this.
I've heard that in Scotland with Celtic he often had to play against teams doing low blocks, but they would still find a way. I think it will take time, and I'm honestly astounded we are as good as we are already.
@@doommonger7784 The point is that the game was more open when Liverpool had 11 men, and our system is suited to punishing the press. When Liverpool lost a man they played very well defensively, and we struggled to break them down in the low block.
@@doommonger7784 I never said Liverpool played the entire game in a low block. That would be incorrect, so please don't put words in my mouth. But they definitely did after the went down to 9 men. Sheffield played a low block for the bulk of that game. In both instances we had some difficulty. Oh and when it was 11 v 11 LFC was hardly "ripping us apart." They did have the upper hand at times but Spurs were in it.
Great video as always Al. Dont worry, happens to the best of us😂The amount of times I have gone to the cashpoint and stood there like a lemon , trying to remember my pin number and making the walk of shame with no dosh in pocket 😂😂
Thanks for the vid, Ali. I know it's silly to rise to it, but the level of ridiculous outrage online over the VAR mess-up is ridiculous. It is as if Liverpool are the only team ever to suffer from a bad ref call....the level of persecution complex from their fanbase is unbelievable.
I saw a super long comment "explaining to the Americans" how all of England has a bias against the city of Liverpool and how this applies to the football club as well and I just had to laugh. Like no team has more negative bias against them than the team you were playing against like wat
Ignoring red cards and VAR decisions, I thought the game showed why Ange is still very conservative about where Spurs are at the moment. While, I'm very happy we won, I thought Liverpool were better than us when it was 11 v 11. To put it this way, if we had been down to 9 men, I think Liverpool would have put the game away with time to spare. To be fair, Ange did point out that Spurs lacked imagination when attacking. So I know that game will be a good teaching moment.
The lacking imagination point was when we were trying to crack the 8 men behind the ball conundrum, not when it was 11 vs 11. Arguably, they were better at that time, but that doesn't necessarily mean the game would have played out that way to an eventual loss - we've already had those times and come through them. Spurs in the final 15mins come on much stronger these days, and I've no doubt we would have been not only competitive but equally as capable of winning with level outfield players. We've been harshly judged on our stint trying to break down a resolute defensive performance from a world class team with massive CBs.
@arryharry also 11 v 11 we had 60 possession they had 40, yeah they had created few more chances but in all they wasn't better than us in any part of the game
I would have been disappointed if we did not win that game, but this team will have a bad game and will lose games, and what they are doing as a new team it’s very promising and for all the parts to gel in 8 weeks it’s very impressive 🙏🏾. VAR must have been watching strictly come dancing
It's a happy moment before Spurs as a result...however in the online sphere ....Liverpool and unsurprisingly Arsenal fans are very unhappy....NO EXTREMELY UNHAPPY ....with the decisions... Now its been confirmed that it was supposed to be a goal for our old mate Diaz.... Its like Spurs should be ashamed of celebrating.... However. ...if roles were reversed.... Liverpool or Arsenal fans wouldn't care about our grievances.. .and even laugh about it
Had no idea about the offside until the que for tube as people talking about it but everyone was saying the same and that Liverpool and Man Utd so use getting decisions they act as if conspiracy against them when they have a bad decision
The reaction has been pathetic. Pundits actually calling for the game to be replayed. Guarantee it wouldn't be anything close to this had the roles been reversed.
@@rampager1990 yeah it’s stupid other clubs would just have to lump it and maybe he discussed after game and on motd but then the conversation would move in but now will be discussed for weeks as it’s Liverpool
Thanks for another top update Ali. Hopefully we can see Jamie Donley get minutes my mates used to go to school with him so it would be quality to see a local lad out a spurs shirt on. Also, I think your Van de Ven rating was justified. Playing Liverpool is never the easiest game as a centre back but I thought Romero still excelled.
We have suffered so much injustice and pain against Liverpool down the years I’ll take any win against Liverpool. The ‘injustice’ of the VAR cock up just makes it sweeter. COYS
When Ange was at Celtic, the fans were excited by the introduction of VAR in the Scottish Premier League. Let's just say the love of the new technology did not last long.....
Would love to see porro on the RW and Emerson at RB with kulu coming in to the middle to switch things up or if Maddison is showing fatigue after what I've seen from the team this year. Wonder if you could bottle that in to a question to Ange about the teams flexibilty sometime, thanks for another great vid ali
I am an Australian sports gan and have followed Ange into the EPL with Tottenham. I think many fans can see Ange will have a skilled, fit, young Spurs team whose bench will be an intregal part of every game. Not having to compete mid week will help the team into the top 4.this year..I think they will be premiers next season
End of the day after all my years of watching the PL, it’s good results in games like the ones we have come through which normally lead to high finishing positions come the end of the season.
Great overall summary of the Spurs win over Liverpool. I think everyone respects their club, as Big Ange points out often, but Klopp is precisely as you say - arrogrant - so I'm happy when karma bites him in the. SO many weird decisions by refs, last week we got robbed against Arsenal with the pen given and not given, in my opinion, so having so many decisions in our favour seems again like karma. Regardless of how it looked on the VAR screen it was a dangerous tackle, so should be *Red,* both *Yellows* against Djota were fair, but the *Yellow* for Salah complaining about the challenge and the one for Udogie was similarly harsh. Well done for bigging up Viking Hojbjerg, I still rate him but don't see him fitting our attack-minded system, same with Skippy but he's young enough to adapt his game. Same with Richie, he deserves a bigging up for his perseverance. Thanks again, COYS.
Ange was the manager of Australia's national team who won the AFC cup against Korea with Son in 2015. Son scored the equalizer in stoppage time, but Ange's sub James Troisi who came on in second half scored the winner in 105th minute. Having weird flashback moments these days.
Correction. Son scored the equaliser with 2 minutes left in normal time, forcing the game into the goal of death (first goal wins) extra time. And Ange's team did it!
Yes Ali, coaching team breakdown would be very interesting! I honestly dont think Luton will be easy, this is an important game as any this season! COYS
Hi Alasdair Really enjoy your comments. Coming from the same home town as Ange, I've followed his journey through Japan and Scotland to England, and it's been great getting an insight into how the fans are at a range of different clubs. Big ups to Celtic fans, who are superb. You Spurs fans have some odd ones among you, but all good, and I really hope you taste real success! You've already hooked into some of the key words that are always associated with Ange - in a rough order of appearance (though they all are recycled regularly) they are: Trust Belief Performance (as a better measure than results) Resilience Relentless The last one is slightly out of place as it's an adjective, while the others are nouns. Never mind. You'll find that when Spurs really get going under Ange, this last word comes up time and time again. Good for Spurs as I know from Arsenal supporting friends that you have a reputation for coming down with the Xmas decorations. I doubt that will happen this season. All the best
Oh, and I reckon Ange ran off the ground because, knowing Ange, he was a bit embarrassed at the whole crowd singing Robbie William's 'Ange' song to him.
This season has been great so far. I will always be ENIC out but levy has got this appointment right. All the changes towards the youth development has been right. The signings are better. Also great to see the players that have failed on so many occasions are being fazed out. This season feels new and fresh. Micky van der ven udogie has changed the left hand side completely. We look so more well round. Vicario and maddison have been important signings and great value compared to what other teams spent. Big Ange has improved porro. Completely different player to last season. So much more enjoyable to watch spurs this season.
You are such a good guy and I really thought you would be more sympathetic towards Liverpool. I am so glad to see you echo the thoughts of many of us. Yes it was an awful decision, but we have a catalogue of them against us. It was about time we got the luck. 😂
There is that “spursy” thing going on. Everyone is enjoying the moment, and there’s that taking the opportunity to go too against Luton. Well said, most will feel the same. Thanks Al. BTW, I watched you vlog over a period of time. COYS
Monday Tuesday happy days! Well Saturday was definitely a happy day! We was due some fortune against Liverpool! Yes var and the ref had a part to play but we never gave up kept going to the end got the 3 points job done!
Initially had a lot of sympathy for Liverpool over the offside decision. But the way they're behaving now it's like it's the first time a ref has ever made a clear error.
I think Jota’s first yellow card was intentional as he runs across/behind Udogie (which he did not have to do) and looks down at Udogie’s feet just before he clips him. He tried not to make it look deliberate but the intent to foul was there.
On the offside, isn't Salah obscured in the picture. So how could they accurately freeze frame a shot, a frame either way and one toe nail is in front of the other.

The offsiders is the very same show which had Ange as a panelist during the period when he could
not get a coaching job.
I loved him as Del Meeko in Starwars Battlefront
It's amazing the fans chose the "Angels" song for Ange, because his full name in Greek is "Angelos" which means 'angel' or 'messenger'.
I think he's probably an "Evangelos". That would be his full name. Common contractions of this name are either Angelos or Vangelis.
Shame about the angels thing though....it sounds like a miracle is required. It's all a bit fluffy etsi then enai?
As a fan residing in the USA, I look forward to every video you put out. Your insight, knowledge and facts are second to none. Keep it up! COYS
Cheers Big A. The atmosphere in the stadium is something else. 2 games on the trot I’ve come home with injuries from last minute celebrations. Definitely getting our moneys worth. Football followed by a music concert / dance.
Every week is like the Ajax champions league match for excitement. I hope we can keep the momentum against Luton
The most important thing is with Ange as coach and Sonny as captain, we know that we are winning every week, will be no let up against Luton Town!
100 minutes of Ali Gold, things you love to see on a Sunday evening 🤩
I love Alistair and I'll watch it to the end, but he's really getting indulgent with these.
A happy Ali Gold video just makes life better. Thanks Ali!
COYS
Spurs fan for 38 years, I love the vibe around the club. I saw LWOS when TJ spoke about the Fonz. eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Great vid Ali!!!
It was a fantastic win somewhat marred by the controversy. Spurs deserve so much credit, they are doing so well in a whole new era in its infancy.
for 25 minutes with 5 extra team mates spurs only just won😂 new era

COYS! 🙏🏽🙌🏾
You struggled against 11 men too… like how can spurs fans be happy with anything but the result in that game
I was dreading us qualifying for the Europa Conference league. Glad we were knocked out of the League cup too. Focus on what really matters- top 4.
and win the FA Cup
Højbjerg came off the pitch about 3 and a half minutes before the rest of the team started coming off and it did look like he wasn't too happy. Glad we got the winner late on and happy to have some good luck go our way for a change.
As a Maltese spurs fan who flew up for this game, I'm endlessly delighted by Ali's t-shirt choice for this vid
Brilliant wasn’t it? I was fully expecting we’d come through with the winner
I've been very much looking forward to your view on this game! You're the best Alasdair.
Next window will fix the lack of depth within the team, Ange would already have identified who and how to remedy the problem.
COYS.
Thanks Alistair, just love your in depth analysis covering all aspects of our great club ❤
After the crappy sissoko penalty in the CL final we deserved that - yep lucky as hell but so what, you ride your luck and Ange is making all of Australia proud as well!
Top shelf journalism
Spurs has passed all the test so far. The players show that they will fight for the win. Its real good watching Spurs again. Playing as a team. Players giving there all for the badge. To add Mr Gold is looking better then the other seasons. Amazing what supporting a winning team playing great football does to fans.
We can play man.
Only needed cheating refs
The same player who was supposed to have been sent off, namely Jota, finally gets his sending off yesterday and rightly so! Coys
On Target with the celebration police hating on us but I feel its much more polarized because its us as opposed to others
Oh yes Ali, been looking forward to this once again. Come on you Spurs 😀😀😀
AMAZING START TO THE SEASON 💪🏻💪🏻
Cheers for the video Ali, but seem to have same issue as last week on the App.
I'm loving how finally Liverpool know what it's like to play Liverpool!
Try going to the RUclips website rather than the app. It's a temporary app processing issue that resolves itself within a couple of hours.

I am worried that playing Spurs with a low block is going to become a "thing" as that is the one thing that seems to stymie us. I hope this is a transitory thing as I hope Ange has some answers (training and tactics) for this.
There are bound to be things it will take time for us to get good at. And most teams these days don't like playing that way anyway
I've heard that in Scotland with Celtic he often had to play against teams doing low blocks, but they would still find a way. I think it will take time, and I'm honestly astounded we are as good as we are already.
@@Dionysus66 I agree and hope you are right.
My sympathy with the first card is out the window for them. I’m sorry the way Klopp commented about skipps getting his head kicked by jota.

I know it's silly to rise to it, but the level of ridiculous outrage online over the VAR mess-up is ridiculous. It is as if Liverpool are the only team ever to suffer from a bad ref call....the level of persecution complex from their fanbase is unbelievable.
Always the victims.
It is true of the entire city.
I saw a super long comment "explaining to the Americans" how all of England has a bias against the city of Liverpool and how this applies to the football club as well and I just had to laugh. Like no team has more negative bias against them than the team you were playing against like wat
@@AcidAdventurer Yeah, that must be the reason they’ve won 6 European Cups (Champions Leagues) & dozens of league titles, you know.
@@davidbeeson9408 yup. It was totally IN SPITE of the terrible oppressive bias
We lost Kane 6 weeks ago? Feels like a lifetime.
Another fantastic and informative video as always Alasdair
Don't forget to ask Big Ange about who's training the midfield players 👍🏼
The wait has ended❤
Just watched the women's game - THFC have a style, they both are very similar for men and women.
Liverpool or Arsenal fans wouldn't care about our grievances.. .and even laugh about it
Well said.

We're owed the luck. The Pedro Mendes disallowed goal is still getting paid back in installments plus interest.

Alisdair, don’t forget Pedro Mendes goal that wasn’t, they brought in goal line technology
When Ange was at Celtic, the fans were excited by the introduction of VAR in the Scottish Premier League. Let's just say the love of the new technology did not last long.....
Ange was lukewarm about it at the time.

End of the day after all my years of watching the PL, it’s good results in games like the ones we have come through which normally lead to high finishing positions come the end of the season.
I can’t stop smiling how we started the season, the scenes in the stadium is amazing such a feel good factor thank u ange
Wasn't Luongo for the winner?
@@rat2496 It was James Troisi.
Yes Ali, coaching team breakdown would be very interesting! I honestly dont think Luton will be easy, this is an important game as any this season! COYS
Hi Alasdair
Really enjoy your comments.
You've already hooked into some of the key words that are always associated with Ange - in a rough order of appearance (though they all are recycled regularly) they are:
Trust
Belief
Performance (as a better measure than results)
Resilience
Relentless
The last one is slightly out of place as it's an adjective, while the others are nouns.
I loved every second of this Ali X116
Waterboy is amazing. Wrinkler as the coach is as memorable as Rob Schneider's"cut his head off" line
He tried not to make it look deliberate but the intent to foul was there.
i dislike Jota so much. He is reckless
Alasdair it's about time we had some luck
On the offside, isn't Salah obscured in the picture. So how could they accurately freeze frame a shot, a frame either way and one toe nail is in front of the other.
We never got an apology from PGMOL with Pedro Mendes
Been waiting for this! Thanks Ali G
