I remember our local farmer using a tw35 ploughing and he had a lot of old tractors too with the canvas roof! All new stuff now with mod cons and creature comforts. Nice video. Glad to see these old gladiators of the field still in use!
The Old TW25 is running strong and sounds very good and mean thanks for the video George My Buddy can't wait to see more of her and can't wait to see you get to use your new JCB Fastrac that thing is gorgeous too cant wait to see her in action keep them coming George Buddy take care I enjoy your channel a lot man👍👍👍👍👍
2:06 its one of the early versions with our ZF front axle if i remember correct. Later versioans had a crcano which were better, imho. The limited slip differential in there seems not to work very good or is outworn. i loved these Fords very much but my favourite was the 6cyl. 7810 with low profile and without turbo (105hp). Was a good seller here in germany
Normally George you'd have been fine at a working day in the summer on a bit of lighter ground but in those conditions even running low on diesel in the front tank makes a world of difference.
LOL - steering by approximation! The front weights would be useful on this heavy ground. The old girl is sounding great! A tune you could listen to all day.
Great vid George. Typical TW working hard, sounding great. but looking likes shes on fire !!!!! You could always see where they were working hard by the smoke signals
Don’t see why ya all saying needs more front end weight, firm I worked for ran a TW25 with 5f KV it didn’t have any more weights on than George’s. Up until a couple of years ago a mate used the same 5f plough as George’s on a JD 3050 a smaller tractor. Hope your TW isn’t the one from where I was George !, the number plate does seam familiar tho.
Hesston4860s with a TW it's not just about weight like it is with a Deere, it's about where you put it. Too much on the front and you'll knock the pivot casting out, not enough on the rear and she won't sit down when pulling. I'd often come back at lunchtime and refill the front tank.
I have a question, what does the little pipe that goes into the muffler do, and will it affect anything if i put a straight pipe on my tw 25 and leave the little tube disconnected, thanks!
Great video which should be compulsory viewing for all the idiot utubers out there who put up agri videos with brain dead muszack playing from start to finish instead of allowing the viewer hear the sound of the machinery been shown. This is what real ploughing is like in real tough conditions, the sod turning the plough and tractor rather than the other way around. In this situation you need all the help you can get, differential lock on, 4 wheel drive on, front end weights, one less sod behind to avoid compaction caused by loss of traction.
Love it when the ole TeeDubb gets a good fire up....reminds me of all the hrs spent in the Ford 9700

shaped pretty well there, conditions could have been a little kinder but you get what you're given!!

Lord Muck so diesel is a front wait as will
Yes Harry. Big tank in the nose and by lunchtime it's getting down and you always noticed it getting lighter on the front.
Lord Muck thx I don't not no thet
Do you ever think of setting up on your own Gorge ? If you do fancy it dont leave it to long. Do it while you still have plenty energy
LOL - steering by approximation! The front weights would be useful on this heavy ground.

Bloody hell if I knew it was only at shefford I would of come down to see what was going on oh well keep em coming George 👍

Honest question,,,,why do u plow? Nice flat, smooth field, perfect for notill,,,,,,,
Sounds amazing George Ford TW 25, I think it needs some weight on the front 😲😲😲😲😲😲
Well that blew out the cobwebs. Sounding well there george
doing a good job there liz, dont let the boss see this george or liz might have a fasttrac to drive lol
You’re right George, could do with some more weight on the front.
Should have put your lunch box on the front!! 🤭
Tidy😎
Now there's an idea!
The bag from the chip shop will be heavier
I remember butting my tool box on the diff lock to hold it in on the TW25 or you leg would cramp up
Followed you through the high street. Made me laugh watching you go over the speed bumps 😂. Great video. Look forward to see it next rally season.
That is power what speaks.Good old Ford.
Good set of overalls there George!
I have a question, what does the little pipe that goes into the muffler do, and will it affect anything if i put a straight pipe on my tw 25 and leave the little tube disconnected, thanks!
I think more weight and better shoes would defiantly help! Great vid. Just cause there's smoke doesn't mean she's broke!
And who doesn't love the sound of a powerful diesel engine 'earning-her-corn'... \m/ (:o)
climate activists :)
Oooh R. Like it, especially the camera on the plough. Tally ho chaps.
You farming in the suburbs, I'm surprised the city hasn't tried to steal your land.
You can't beat a smokey ford superb👌!
Nice, but like the County`s they need weights on the front to keep em down, but then they pull like a train
lovely video for my birthday👌🏻🙉
Awesome sound!
Sounds good George!
As nice as that was... I wanna see the new yellow beast
That's a tractor 2 be proud of buddy

When it smokes, shouldnt shift a gear down?
Bas BlasterXP old ford tractors smoke no matter what basically. You give the throttle a slight dab and it'll smoke
Some sound of the old T-DUB
Good video
No differential lock?
Bellissimo !
Fastrac vids?
England-UK?
If fitted with diff lock try using it may not need front weights
Tractor sounds great though
super video
Sounds nice that
Be a completely different machine with a set of weights on it good vid though
And then a good few nights of frost over it !
Need sum front weight BAD
good sound
does that tractor have a diff lock?
Don't look like it!
David Hawkins well it must George said to his wife to put it in when she was going up the field @ 2.25
Greg Shearer mustn't if heard that just saw the wheels were all spinning different speeds
Glen Koopman yeah heard him say that then done the same his self.would of got on a lot better with diff in.
Get them front weights on and you’ll be away!

if you hadn't hooked a seven-headed olug you would have pulled lighter ..
Drop a furrow off pilot and get some new tires! HAHA....
Should have grubbed the headland
Little bit big for it
Need a front weight kit for her
Why do they plow so much over there?
just the way is always been done heavy soil puts and goodness back into the soil several reason actually
They don't have erosion problems over there?
Blimey talk about cruelty to a TW put some weight on her
