Looks a nice spreader and somewhat larger than ours but I love the rear discharge so much more than our old NH Sperry barrel spreader when spreading FYM. Out of interest how many times have you gone over the bridge and a driver coming the other way hasn't paid attention and kept coming and then expected you to reverse or are the driver better there than they are down here
Bit too used to them modern tractors changing gear for you, I prescribe more TW videos to keep you in practice 😉 just messing good vid chap, epic sound!

Great video George. That gave the old girl a workout. Lots of oil changes and thrashing, diesels last forever. Ploughing, cultivating and muck spreading, best jobs on a farm.

Hi why do tractor drivers these days take heavy load from muck heap to far end field then spread back !nuts wastes time and compacts soil ,spread from heap come back empty and light ,here endith my rant !doing a good job !!
Good video, nice to see a bit of smoke. Quick question: why do we see the tyres on some trailers fitted the same way as the tractor but others may have them fitted the reverse way, is there a right and wrong direction for the tread to face?

0:47 this changing was relly out of date at that time.....most competition could switch with a lever into different speeds.

Do you often change pto trees on your tractors? We use the only pto tree for 540 and 1000.

I believe that when fitted the reverse way they have a floating effect
