A beautiful rendition of this After Forever gem, very emotional. I simply would not be able to sing a personal, heavily emotional song like that in front of a live audience. She kept her voice almost all the way through, while her parents and sister Irene were present... I would be in total vocal lockdown halfway through already, for sure. That's the difference between a consummate professional and an amateur. I sure hope she will keep this in her setlist for all the coming solo shows, because I will only see her at the last one, on March 24th @Afas Live, Amsterdam. Fingers crossed!

Well Floor I've never said a critical word about any song you've ever sung. But I feel like I have to say one thing here; I prefer Emma's version on Beste Zangers. She sang it an octave lower and that gave the song a powerfully warm resonation that your Soprano just doesn't give. Don't get me wrong I love Sopranos and their stratospheric voices, especially yours, but I think this song would sound better if you would take it down to Mezzo. You could at least try it in practice?? I hope you and Nightwish come close to Dallas Tx. in the near future. I really want to see your performance live. My fave concert is still Wacken 2013. Hard to believe you've been Nightwish's lead singer for seven years...I'm sure you will pass Tarja's ten years with the band.
I like both Emmas and Floors versions. Just wanted to point out the difference in pitch in their performances is actually only two notes and not a whole octave. Floor could easily take it down two notes as she has a vocal range of about 3 octaves (ever more if you accept growls and falsetto notes). I think Emmas version sounds more warm mainly because it's a professional recording and this here is just cellphone footage.
