I love how , at times, these ladies would go outside the boutique, have a cigarette & strategize how they are going to tackle the insecurities of some of these beautiful women that come through. It's truly amazing how they work off each other & know exactly what is necessary to make Plus Size Women feel their best, especially when their clients are uncertain as to what direction to go. Even when the women come off as confident, they know how to reinforce self esteem for the long run, helping them to understand that outside of the dress, they're FABULOUS in life. That skill goes further than a "Wedding Day"
I fckn love this show. No mention of pricing or sizing down or agreeing when brides talk about their 'problem areas', just boosting each other up and encouraging people to believe they deserve happiness. Eugh I LOVE it
Thank you Amen for that. My Mom always taught us to forget the size inside of the dress and to wear something that always made us look the best and to feel pretty, no matter what size we are or were.
She sure did. It breaks my heart how society has done this to our young women - that their bodies are such a source of critical opinions. I have three granddaughters. It scares me to death that some day they may not feel beautiful. I love them so much - and always will think they are gorgeous, no matter what.
She was thrilled and happy and bubbly. I would have feathers like that for a wedding gown. My marriage venue was not one where you could wear them ( or they would have needed to be made to be detached and added back on later. Back in those days I don't think we would have known where to find anything like that. ) Only on Ginger Rodgers in the movies lo. HOWEVER, for one of youngest daughters proms, she actually WORE a Ginger Rodgers style pink floaty, beaded bodice VINTAGE BALL GOWNS. We spotted in a consignment store, when she was around 8 years old, I bought it on layaway and then she wore it when she was Junior in High school. I bought a big pink ostrich feather boa, she wore her hair up and fancy with her first crystal ballet tiara tucked up into her vintage hair style. ( I also added more beaded pieces to the bodice in front a back, as the gowns was TOO low cut for a high school girl.) It was so much fun. on, I also hand beaded and painted her a fancy pair of heels for the dance as well. She looked and felt like a dream!
The first bride rocked that dress! She looks amazing 🥰 and the 2nd bride looks stunning as well! 🥰 They both picked gorgeous dresses that were made for them.💕
I love this show. I wished I would’ve had a place like this to get my dress. I ended up settling for a sundress. The few bridal stores I went to didn’t want to help me. Each woman walks out of there feeling so good about themselves. ❤️
She’s the smallest plus size bride I’ve seen in this program! She looks amazing! Also; why do they always put short veil? That dress screams old Hollywood glamour with long ass veil 😍
Probably due to budget restrictions. Long veils are super expensive for what they are. My sister had a long veil, which ended up costing more than some of the budget-friendly dresses she had tried on while dress-hunting.
Oh happy tears! That dress was made for Yasmina & is almost supernatural in how perfect it is. She looks incredible. I love these 2 ladies. They truly get what it’s like to be so sadly filled with self-loathing. I wish every curvy & beautiful bride in the world could have such an amazing experience like this one. 💜🌟💜
Greetings from America,. This channel is amazing , Jo an Al are wonderful ❣️ 4 all of the women who go 2 visit the store 4 a wedding dress. They come away with so much more. It is a life changing experience. We should all be so lucky. All the best 2 you both.
I said it before, Al and Jo are miracle workers, they always find the perfect wedding dresses for these wonderful stunning women. I do not care what size they are, all I care about is they must feel stunningly beautiful in the wedding gown they wear. These two women make them feel beautiful, they deserve much more praise than they are getting.
@@redfrag9607 she had the same surgery as Jo but unfortunately it aged her by 20 years. She literally have no subcutaneous fat in her face, the stuff that softens and shape your face.
I’ve been pecking away at these episodes, every once in a while getting little glances of that marabou feather dress hanging on the rack. I’m tickled to pieces I finally get to see the bride for whom this dress is made! ps~ props to Jo for intuiting the headpiece that would flatter this bride and coordinate with the dress!
Wow, that feather dress is stunning! It suits her so perfectly, it balances her body shape, and accentuates all the right places, just wow. It looked like it was made just for her.
The second bride touched mine & my 13 yr old daughter's heart...she was so lovely, so real 😏 & looked beautiful in the the dress she chose, beautiful family too 😌❤🇦🇺
I am not really overweight, I am 1.57 m and 66 kg. I am self-confidence and married. I never wore a wedding dress, just a normal dress. But if I will ever remarry my husband (because he is the best and I love him so much) I would LOVE to get dressed by these beautiful ladies from the store. They are unbelievable nice and ALWAYS find the right words for everyone.
Go for it -- and consider a renewal of wedding vows, at any date you choose. Pick an affordable wedding dress (or rent one) and enjoy that special day and occasion.
Yasmina looks stunning...that dress fits here so well...congrats!!!!! The 2nd lady looked fsntastic in the last dress...hope these ladies have a Wonderful wedding!
I get what she means about the drag Queen inspiration. Drag queens have a glam factor and wow factor, it’s not necessarily about looking like a man in a dress. I stole a lot of tips from RuPaul’s drag race to do my makeup but I obviously tone it down a lot.

I never comment on these videos but I had to on this one. She was jaw dropping gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! I do love these two ladies so much! I wish I could have went to their Curvy Brides Boutique” back when I got married. It’s true that many fluffy brides settle for what they can find that fits instead of having the wonderful experience they experience with Jo and Al! Excellent work as always ladies! 🥰

Everyone's reaction was spot on. However, she and her mom's reactions to it, simply amazing.
The Mother with the walking sticks looks like she's has had a hard life and lost who she is..but clearly there's someone who just loves her for who she is..otherwise she wouldn't be getting married..hope she feels great on her wedding day 💐❤️
I loved the shape and the top of the first one, it was amazing, very hard to see the bottom, since the background was white. Starting to think if I went shopping for a wedding dress, the place would have way too much white for me to see anything, lol.
That feather dress was made for her, absolutely glamorous

I'm here for the long veils!
Yes, I thought I was the only one. I wanted to see a long veil with this dress… I would bring the glam to a whole different level!
Probably due to budget restrictions.

I liked the first dress on her but when I saw the feather dress I was in love. That dress was made for her absolutely gorgeous
The first dress would have been my preference, I absolutely loved her shape in that
