When you see people standing on the corner. Walking up the street drinking out of a brown paper bag. When they walk pit bulls with heavy chains around their necks When they cut across your yard to get to where they are going. When you see the police go up and down your street several times a day. When the guy next door start his truck and it sounds like you are at the Indy 500. When your neighbor lets his dog out in the morning to do his business in your yard. When they throw trash in your yard while stopping at the stop sign. When they jump your fence to get to the park. When they turn around in your driveway and look at you like you are crazy. I better stop I'm on a roll.

I lived on 2nd avenue between 16 & 17 just above gramercy park with a key and just by stuyvesant park. I rented a condo owned by tom cruise. I was not so impressed as he'd installed a red wood sauna which meant I had no closet. Love.
