I’m 100% black, 100% man, and 100% conservative, republican, and Christian. The erosion of two parent black families 1964 to present is the biggest tragedy we never talk about.

Welfare pushed men out and took stigma and shame out of having children out of wed lock. It destroyed family structure. Kids raised by single mother grew up without structure and boundaries and by 1980s gaxxng culture took hold and rap started to spread. Since then this music and this gaxxng culture has done untold damage, and it’s still goi g on. This has to stop and tradition family values need to come back to restore blk family. Otherwise this rap and gaxxngs, and glorification of single motherhood will continue to damage blk family and blk young people.

Everyone not black has noticed it, and are tired of paying for it. Temporary welfare instead of permanent cradle to grave money, vouchers to live in houses instead of apartments needs to go, too. Now there are sometimes four generations of families with no dads in them at all, and the young males have no idea how to be fathers, husbands, hard workers. My dad was the rock in my life. He worked two jobs, kept my brother in line and me, and I know what they’re missing.

Yeah and there is a line between taking it serious or just listening to it. I like metal and rap, if you listened to some Death Metal (not that you can understand the vocals anyway) it’s a joke. It’s all messed up lyrics, the difference is most people take it as a joke because it’s meant to be ridiculous and messed up, not to be taken seriously. I don’t like death metal, I like the instrumental stuff it’s impressive and I think sounds cool, but the demon vocals almost all sound the same. It bores me.

Motown artists carried themselves with class & actually made real good music. We all see how rappers carry themselves and they don’t make music at all, it’s nothing but trash

Im white and back in 1988 I was 20 working as a Concrete Formwork Carpenter in construction in Ft Lauderdale FL. I hung out with the Labor Foreman who was black and around 45 and we'd hang out after work, usually Fridays, to drank mainly with other black men. I met other black men through him and one man in particular intoduced me to Big Dank. He was born in 1924 and was 64 at the time. He was a gifted black Blues man who during the depression as a child played on corners and would make 3 - 5 bucks or more a day which back then was big money for a 8 year old. He would bring the money home to his mom who was always wondering how he made such money. I know because he was my Best friend for nearly 18 years until he passed in 2006. He was gifted - anything he heard he couod play on the guitar He sold moonshine in an old neighborgood just East of I95 an NE by about a mile. It was an all black neighborhood and I met black men who were 20- 45 years older than me because many drank moonshine and i drank too. I never met so many decent people in my life and many took to me for my decency and respect I gave to all. I learned to play the blues then moved to composing/playing smooth jazz, blues, funk , easy rock compositions. I was living Martin Luther's dream. I helped dank move him and his wife to Georgia in 1996. But i always went up once a year and stayed with him up to a month sometimes. I will always be thankful to the GOD Most High for that wonderful experience. Those men are all gone now and I miss everyone of them.

I did this going to buy a cell phone. Everything I said to the black employee, (the only employee at the store) he just stared at me with his mouth open. It was making me really nervous, I said, "is this your desk? can I sit here?" because there was another chair in front of it for customers, and he just stares at me again without saying anything. So after a pause I ask "are you ok?" and he screams ARE YOU??? and to this day I still have no idea why. it was so bizarre. I said "you're just staring at me not saying anything." then right when i finished that sentence, I thought just leave. I should have just walked out when he started having an out burst, he starts saying something and I leave the store quickly. You're right. The second something doesnt seem right. The first mouth-open stare he gave me when I said hi, i need a new phone, I should have just spun around and left right there.

So true and being a Black home-owning woman alone. I've been treated I'm like fair game. I will NEVER do business with another Black owned company. They have a habit of treating other Black people with no respect. Electrical and Plumbing is the heart and soul of your house. The structure is its bones. Black contractors have messed up all of my major internal components. I had to have them all redone. Not so with my none English-speaking Polish contractors. When I had a garage built and siding put on. All of which has held up nicely. I'm done. I don't have that kind of money or the time for them to screw me over.
I try to learn as much about what I need to get done as possible before I call for help. Or at least the terminology for certain parts. I don't want to hear your stories or have any of you touch my house. One guy was my son's frat brother. He screwed me royally and tried to take the extra materials he bought with my money when I asked him to leave. He ended up calling me out of my name. Now I'm the proud owner of some very expensive Copper. I have so many tales to tell about my experiences with Black-owned businesses. And NONE and I mean NONE are good. Do I care about what any of you think NOPE

Those are your own words...our "own people." There's a line of division. I'm sure I don't have to remind anyone who the most racist people are in America. There's always an exception to the rule, but the rule always remains. Colin Flaherty nailed it. I've had black acquaintances and even work for a mixed black guy; he gets to play on both sides... the best of both worlds. (He refuses to date or marry black chicks because of their loud, aggressive, and masculine nature.) I even notice how color-fixed blacks are amongst and against their "own people."
Actually, I could write a thesis on my employer's hiring methods and unfortunate experiences with black employees. Let's just say that it ended up costing him several tens of thousands of dollars.

I'm a 68 year old white man from mid America who grew up in a white community. My parents raised me to NOT be racist. I never had a racist bone in my body. But in my late 20s I bought my first home and my next door neighbor family was black. No problem, we were even good friends for a couple of years. By the time I moved 12 years later Joe and his wife had trained me to realize that the black stereotypes I had thought were nonsense...were based in reality! I've had SOOOO many bad experiences with black people (including having a gun shoved in my ribs to rob me) that I now assume a black stranger I may encounter hates me and wishes me harm. They've done it to themselves. Call me a racist if you want. Caring what people thought of me almost cost me my life so I've stopped...

He should be a man and tell us what the solution is. We don't need to be told that black crime is out of proportion to the population. Lamont, something sounds real fishy about this story. I think that you orchestrated this story for the clicks and views. Most of this video was about how he has never dealt with a black business that didn't end like this.He knew that he was going to Akron OH. Akron has a very high population of African Americans. Most black-owned businesses are in the black neighborhoods. He called to make an appointment. You mean he didn't know it was a black business, of course he did. Lamont knows that with the racial tensions the way they are in the country right now, that an anti black video is going to get lots of views and comments, 99% agreeing with him that the problem in this country are black people and immigrants. That sells. What you did not do Lamont is show the receipt that you got for the money you spent. You didn't tell us what the name of the business is. No pictures of your van up on the lift. He didn't even have to call the police. The guy said you don't have to call the police. Why did he call them, for an escort? Lamont is either very naive and stupid or he hates black people enough to make up a story like this. His story makes absolutely no sense. Here's a couple of things I found out about Akron after I saw the video.
The Akron chapter of the Ku Klux Klan reported having 50,000 members, making it the largest local chapter in the country during the 20th century. At some point the sheriff, county officials, mayor of Akron, judges, county commissioners, and most members of Akron's school board were members.
The distribution of methamphetamine ("meth") in Akron greatly contributed to Summit County becoming known as the "Meth Capital of Ohio" in the early 2000s.[The county ranked third in the nation in the number of registered meth sites. Those were not black folk making the meth.
I used to like Lamont. I remember he did a great video about young Emmett Till going down to Mississippi and getting slaughtered. But Lamont has turned into a self hating black man. Well part like anyway.

Culturally, they have a real problem with basic manners. Just yesterday at work I was noting how the young black girl (the one who on election day seriously asked "has Trump already been president before?") corrected a simple mistake a new hire made. It was "HEY! COME HERE! LOOK! Do it like this!" A normal person would have said "Hey so and so, you got a second? I want to show you something. I knew a couple of guys who were professional mechanics and they used to tell me about all the stories about ripping off customers. I was working a 18hr shift and my wife took the van in for a simple oil change prior to our road trip. I get an emergency call at work so I call back and my wife is panicking because the manager told her that she needed several emergency repairs total 700$ . I asked her for the manager and told him that I would only speak to him if he put me on speaker phone. Now the entire shop and customers can hear our conversation. He starts explaining all the repairs and when he was done I told him that is pretty thorough but why not replace the muffler bearing while you’re at it ? The entire shop of mechanics were laughing so hard that the customers started inquiring about what was going on. He handed the phone to my wife and said you’re oil change will be done in few minutes, she was totally confused so I explained it was a con job and a muffler bearing is a old mechanics joke 😂😂😂

The black community has to get rid of the black political leaders & rap/hip hop moguls who are empowering or positively educating literally black people in the nation. They profit from convincing the black population they are eternal victims never helping their people to stand up proud, take self responsibility and moved beyond victim hood. A rape victim can ruin themselves for life if they never move forward beyond it to not let if define what they become.
Things are 1000% better today for black post 60's civil rights movement with way more education opportunities and ways to get beyond life in a hood. The few that take their education seriously can many times finding special funding and scholarships to go to college or other post secondary school to get out of the hood many times. The problem is the "culture" and cultural leaders in the black community discourages that pushing drugs, pimps, ho's, promiscuity & gang culture.
Go Google image "Black family" & look for old black & white images. Near everyone will have a well dressed Black family with a suited father, mother wearing a dress and a bunch of neatly dressed kids that look well behaved, schooled that have no idea what street drugs are. If they did happen to be around them the disciplinarian father family leader would make them wish they never did and don't ever again. Time outs don't make that kind of permanent impression.

There are several large players involved from India who are billionaires and multimillionaires they give these high interest loans to the Indians that are coming to the United States and own a piece of the business until that loan is repaid with a maximum amount of interest if you're late on a payment they will take the business from you immediately if you've ever seen some gas stations will have multiple owners over a period of time that's because they're taking them away from them and giving them to somebody else with that same massive loan It doesn't come from the US government That's how they're able to buy all the gas stations and dairy Queens and vape shops and whatever

I'm South African white. My child invited and sponsored me and the wife for a month visit in Germany. First thing that was pointed out to me while walking in the street, was a plastic bag with a cellphone in it hanging in a tree. Someone dropped it, and the person who saw it placed it in the tree. The person who lost it will retrace his/her steps and find the lost property there. Just simple civilization. I did some experiments in shops by acting "suspicious" when paying at a cashier by "protecting" my card and pay serious attention to my immediate surroundings. One German girl took the bait and ask me why I act like that, and do not want to "tap" my card. I told her how careful you need to be in South Africa and her reaction was a kodac moment. : "Why would anybody steal/take someone else's stuff???" I got the exact same type of reaction 3 times in different situations where I explained my actions.

I am white. It's not an issue of race, it's not an issue of location. I believe you are seeing the breakdown and decline of our society. I had work done to my vehicle drove off with 4 bolts loose on my drive shaft, had to fix it myself. I use to do all the work on my vehicles myself but at 60 I thought I will let a shop ( owned and staffed by white men ) do the work, looks like I will do my own work from now on. The problem is the education system and the morals that people are exposed to as they grow up. If we don't change, we are doomed but it will be a slow decline and interesting, although sad, too observe. Think Roman Empire. Have a nice day.

Since then this music and this gaxxng culture has done untold damage, and it’s still goi g on. This has to stop and tradition family values need to come back to restore blk family. I deliberately avoid most blk owned businesses even if it means I have to drive an extra 15 to 30 minutes to avoid being mistreated, ripped off or lack of the core products that they should carry. The sooner we can be honest with ourselves, take accountability and address this issue will be the only way that we can correct this. In the meanwhile I also personally do not even market my business to black people. It's business nothing personal.

I guess there are two sides to every coin and as a business owner I will chime in. I am in the RV repair business. I would guess that about 12% of our business is with black RV owners and the majority own a motorhome. In the past 5 years more and more black families are getting into RVing. I have never had a problem with any of our black customers. The motto at our business is.. "Our customers come in as a stranger and leave as friend", and this for the most part is true. I know that our situation is in reverse of your experiences, but I wanted to chime in with a different perspective. It's sad that this is true and it's difficult to understand. I think a lot of the issues in the black community is the fact that the democratic party has used them and abused them for so long. The majority of our black customers are republicans. Times are changing for sure :)

Every weekend he would have a cookout in front pf his store and feed hungry families for free. The [rices were a little high but its a local business so i dont expect walmart or amazon prices. So much truth to this. Last 10 years of my career in law enforcement I’ve been assigned to a juvenile section. Child advocates say that only kids of color are being detained and going to juvenile hall. I wondered why that is until I would see visitations and realize there’s only a mother or grandmother visiting, no father. Didn’t help how the mother was speaking to the child because she too is too young to be raising a kid and still acts like a child. Don’t have enough life experience to teach a young person. It’s a culture that needs to be addressed. We all must do better.

Was ordering some DoorDash when I lived in Orlando and a new Black Owned Business was featured on the app: The Licking; a seafood restaurant. There was a drink called a”mystery drink” and it was soda&some type of juice, it was good. But, the seafood rice I ordered could have put me in the hospital if I wasn’t such a careful eater. So glad I did not serve it up for my family. Whoever made the rice actually smashed the shells of the seafood in w/the rice, or(I just thought of this)made it in a big pot and then stirred it around while doling it out. There were itty bitty teeny tiny pieces that i could still feel when sifting it through my hands. I left a one star on Yelp& was super surprised they were still in business months later. I’m not kidding when I state every single mouthful of rice was infused with a grainy shell texture. The rice wasn’t even that good. When you have to eat 1-3 grains of rice at a time with fingers because you can’t see the shell, that’s BAD. The only reason I was trying to eat any of it was because I wanted to leave a thorough review. I never ordered from them again. In fact, Doordash has put me off most restaurants. I ordered milkshakes from the Pine Hills area(Crime Hills if you’re from Orlando) and the bag and the shakes smelled strong like reefer. When I complained to Doordash they just didn’t care-no refund. They should really make it illegal to have a pet in the car, smoke anything or wear any kind of cologne when delivering food or groceries. It’s a federal offense to tamper w/food in a grocery store. But, it’s ok when a dog takes a crap or a wee on a grocery bag, a guy does a wake n bake inside the car w/your food right there, or his Drakkar Noir is SO strong you can smell it on the food and the bag?

Well part black anyway.
There must be 1000 black people commenting on how right Lamont is. He’s talking about you fools. Don’t you understand, people see you and you’re the one he’s talking about.

You can do a oil change on your own lamont. Its like changing a tire...
Easy...take the plug out put a pan or bucket underneath to catch the oil. Take the oil out, put 6 quartz in. Change the filter and done!!

I was paying $100. Now I do my own and use an oil treatment on my Ford e350 super duty box truck. I'm feeling you. A white guy just worked me over after spending more than $300 for a battery when he broke the tie down working for a auto supply. He told me to put a bungee cord on it. I went to another store and Pedro fixed it so my truck wouldn't catch on fire. Race doesn't guarantee success or get in the way, unless you depend on it. I'm 70 and the prognosis isn't good for humanity

Thats not true at all. Alot of cars have become so difficult due to the oil filter location. Drain bolts are usually covered by underbody skid plates. So no its not “easy”. Its not 1961 anymore cars are complicated now.

Cursing in an argument or dispute is valid. It’s clear concise and to the point. Now every word shouldn’t be a curse word but saying something like “I think you’re a fucking idiot.” Really gets the point across.

I’ve only been to a business that advertises themselves as “black owned” (as if that matters to anyone aside from woke liberals) once. It was a restaurant. It took us like 2 hours to get our food, no exaggeration. The jerk chicken was great, but the service was non-existent.
