That was the bike i really wanted around the time i passed my motorcycle test and got my full license way back in 1992. I loved them then, and it still looks a great bike even today - i ended up buying a succession of Yamaha Virago's (XV535, XV1100) and a Dragstar XVS1100 though over the decades.

Thanks! Next week, I'll upload another video working on the early evo/v1 (84-91). Personally, I’d recommend the V2 evo, specifically 1996 and up, since most issues were resolved by then. However, with proper care, the V1 is still a great engine and has never let me down.
