My favorite thing about Dave is his varying comfortability with different swears. Nate says "duck yeah" and Dave is like oooo (in a "oh man that's pretty close to a swear" way) but then the mention that Dan and Hollie got to go to Japan and not him again, and he immediately shouts "Goddamnit," Lol.
For Baby Rose, I realise these are older games but the Final Fantasy X/X2 hd remaster is available on ps4. If you haven't played these before then I'd say it's a must (FFX especially) if you like story driven games. And if you have played them before they're wonderful games to revisit!
Baby Rose should play Until Dawn. There’s lovely story elements and the QTE events can help a newer gamer get to know the placements of the buttons on the controller. There’s also some moving around sections that will teach navigation.
BabyRose: Try "The Last Of Us"...its a PS Exclusive and it is one the best stories out there! It might be challenging for a new gamer, but the story will make you go trough...pretty sure!
It's fantastic to watch Nathan play and makes me feel better about myself. I am the same kind of player when it comes to versus games, it's never our fault when we loose 🤣 "I was behind the log", "how much rock do you have", and my all-time favourite: "I WAS BLOCKING!". A game between us would definetively be awesome for others to watch 😁 Greets from Swittzerland.
I'd like to suggest you guys do a sort of 'roundtable discussion' or a dialogue/banter session about a particular topic, like what you guys did today for games accessible to new gamers! Or something podcast-esque hehe :) Because each of you have different opinions and great ideas and I feel like having a gathering of sorts for everyone is really nice! Maybe this can be done livestream style, too? have a great week and love the stuff you guys put out
kinda feel Davenation and NationDitum are fighting over the second/third place tie because they and everyone else know that Robnation took home the gold, no contest.
Sadly I can no longer watch Access Granted because Nathan has refused to wear the Onesie too many times and it is infuriating because dave is too nice to force you to wear it when you lose. If no one wears the Onesie wtf is it called one on onesie? Can you change the title of the segment if nathan has lost and refused to wear it to 'Nathan lost and refused to wear the onesie like a big baby' so people like me can just avoid those episodes. Other than that, you guys are pretty good
Then don't stress over it just tease him in comments or twitter! His a good lad with a sense of humour. Not to mention he does acknowledge when his been a pillock.
I was just listening to "We Finally Made It" again and I realized who you guys each would be in 'The Beatles'. Nath will be 'Paul', Rob will be 'John', Hollie is 'George', and Dave is 'Ringo'. ;D It fits, Nath is the leader and very expressive. Rob is cynical and also well-liked. Hollie is the hidden gem that only gets some face time, and Dave is the one who is the odd one out. Getting put in the unfair situations (Such as scary games).
For BabyRose: I'd suggest "Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles". It has a story, but it also shows you basic mechanics to help lead you to other games. Building, for instance. But no violence. Or "Dragon Quest Builders" which is a bit more intensive, but teaches you building to a plan, and has some fighting. These are as an aside to what Nathan and Dave have already mentioned, which are quite good too. If you like some puzzles with story, there's also "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons", which is quite good, or "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter".... There are heaps! Access also have a live stream with Hollie about "Yonder", if you want to check it out.
Hi Dave and Nathan - Another great video and for BabyRose I'd certainly suggest picking up some point and click/puzzle games, maybe even a couple of JRPGs :) the best ones I can think of off the top of my head - Broken Sword 5 (if you've played the first ones that is), Grim Fandango Remastered, Any of the Telltale series like Nathan said (the narratives are so compelling but I suggest being prepared to feel like a bad human being!) and for me Final Fantasy as a series is as story driven as it comes so take your pick of the ones available :) As for a Lets Play I've been thinking long and hard and have come up with you guys battling it out in a King of the Ring style Access tournament on a WWE 2K game but with a twist - 3 roulette wheels determining what you choose as a wrestler so it would be weight class, the show they are on and the 3rd wheel to decide on the match type you end up on, also on the wheels I'd put a dud choice where the unlucky person who lands on it has to use the superstar with the lowest stats and a special choice for the superstar with the highest stats so no free choices from the start. I think Nath would probably win this because after all he is the ruler of the Nation of Ditumation :)
well, maybe if they put more effort into the story (that spoils itself in the opening cutscene) or made it long enough to justify the initial cost, they could've made a sequel. can't blame anyone but themselves
4-6 hours for a $60 linear game with no replay-ability is "good?" the cliche'd as hell story with cliche'd as hell characters that basically is only the set up for the actual story is "good?" methinks you may be a bit too forgiving. and it totally spoils the whole "the order turns against you" twist that happens midway through, as well as the cliffhanger of whether tough lady love interest survives her brush with death (we know she survives because she was in the opening flash forward)
I did say it is in the sale. I picked it up £8.99 which is well worth the 8 hours it takes to play. The Order doesn't just turn on you. That is the bare bones point but there are lots of twists and turns that get to that.
hi guys just wanted to say thanx been watching for awile now and this week a was inspired to go back and try for some plats and i finally finished uncharted on crushing for my 46th platinum
#301club - if you guys are still doing 301 club! Would just like to say how much I love the channel and also what happened to Gary Fist? :P Also kudos to Hollie for her scary play through - admire that bravery!
First of all,I would just like to say I am a MASSIVE Playstation Access fan. Thank you so much for all the awesome content! However, there is a serious issue to discuss: The names of your fans. Dave's fans have already been confirmed as the Davenation. Nathan's fans should be called the Nathtion or the Nath - fans (shounds like Nathans) Rob's fans should obviously be called the Robellion. Hollie's fans can be calles the Hollians. And Dan's fans can be called the DanClan.
How about doing a month long series of connected Friday Features where each of you showcase your seven must plays of the console? Or maybe by genre? That would be a great way to talk about if you are new to PS4 start here.
So, in summation this is the foundation of the NathNation to rival Dave's Nation on PlayStation? Cool. Also the first game of my own I ever played was Uncharted and I still think it is a great place to start, especially now that you have so much to look forward to,and, it'll make you feel like a part of PlayStation history.
Re: Nath. Re: Gwent. Nathan Ditum...I know how you feel. I similarly fell in love with The Witcher but was destroyed in my very first attempt at Gwent in White Orchard, I didn't understand it, didn't like that I was bad at it, and went through almost my entire new game run completely ignoring Gwent in the game due to that. But then one Sunday, as I was about halfway through Blood & Wine, I suddenly realized that I most likely have the flu. lol A couple hours later that was confirmed that I was in fact afflicted. So...I thought "Well I'm going to be off work for most of this week because of this so..." I then spent about 3 hours teaching myself how to play Gwent and I completely fell in love. I then spend most of my "flu time" catching up on the Gwent quests I had been ignoring (including one of the best quests in the main game "High Stakes") and now I'm mad for it and really enjoy Gwent. A few weeks later I started my new game plus run and dove into the Gwent quests spread out through the whole game including DLCs and can't imagine that game, my favourite game of all time by a huge margin (save for Bloodborne, sorry), without Gwent. Long story short...play that game because your Witcher experience is incomplete without it.
What i think they should do for One on Onesie is Both Dave and Nath suggest a game for the following week that they want to play and let the public vote on what they should play..
I think u guys should have a top gear style leaderboard but of all ps4 games you’ve played ranked from best to worst and u can add to it whenever new releases come out and discuss where it should be
Hey BabyRose and welcome to the Playstation Access Community. We are a growing community of people who want to inspire others to overcome difficulties in life and games and empower others to do the same. We are always ready to help and give advice to others who have a question or are stuck in a game. It's my pleasure to extend a cheerful welcome to you and wish you good luck with your own playstation journey ^_^
I agree with Dave. I recently played Journey and definitely recommend it to BabyRose. It is one of my favourite gaming experiences. Another game that l recommend to play is the remaster of Shadow of the Colossus
Gaming rules broken, for me would be:- * Changing the difficulty during tough situations. * Looking up solutions online for tough puzzles or boss fights. * Rage quitting
Gwent best card game in a game? Nah mate - Triple Triad from FF8 is still the king, loved it when I was a teen back on release and replayed the game recently and fell in love with Triple Triad all over again. Plus - that music man, so damn good.
BabyRose, I recommend any Fallout or Skyrim because you can get hundreds of hours out of either and they're both beautiful franchises. The whole Uncharted series is also a great starter (minus the irritating fight with Lazarevic). I'd hold off on Assassin's Creed until you're more comfortable because, while visually stunning, they were a bit frustrating for me when I was a new gamer back in 2011. When my fiancé and I were first together, we were dating long distance and co-op games were a great way to have date night when neither of us could travel. Look into the co-op games your friends may be playing. The suggestion to get a PS+ account is a great one. Lastly, gents, you're still looking very nice with your new haircuts. I vote for #Nathtion. Sorry about the overly verbose comment!
For Babyrose - I would recommend firewatch as a good starting point for story based games. If your feeling more adventurous the witness is also amazing
Hey guys :) One on Onesie game suggestions Everybody’s Golf, Worms, Injustice 1 or 2 and Star Wars battlefront. If you wanted to try something different for one on onesie why not try time attack with the other being out the room. For example take down a colossus from Shadow of the Colossus, or a Thunderjaw from Horizon. Sorry about spelling and grammar I’m dyslexic.
For a new let's play series i have a few suggestions. -1 maybe you guys should consider giving final fantasy 7 a go and rob could be there to guide you. -2 try gravity rush 2 or remastered They're really fun, and it also would nice to your response and thoughts about the game's gravity manipulation system. PS. #Nationditum always ❤️
I think I speak for everyone when I say that we would love to watch the two of you take on a difficult monster from Monster Hunter World. Even though it's not 1v1 I can already hear the anger between the two of you
This was an interesting week - only just getting into this part of your channel - I got grabbed by the Friday feature so I guess I am #RobsMob . I like the Tuesday checklist a lot too. Is there any way to get the access dual shock light decals?
Oxenfree is great! I'd also suggest Dragon Age Inquistion. It's the first major RPG I ever played and still one of my favorite games. It can be overwhelming at first, so put the game on easy until you feel comfortable with it, then you can up the difficulty.
Gwent for one on onesie would be excellent. Took some time to get the hang of it, but once I figured it out I think I spent just as much time playing gwent as I did running around the world.
Poor Dave. Whenever he does well Nathan refuses to ever give him credit. Every time Dave does well it's, "It's the game's fault I lost!". When Nath wins it's because of his skill of course lol.
If you want a good first game BabyRose I'd definitely say grow home it's really fun and simple platformer with cartoon like graphics and lots of random stuff to mess around with that shows off lots of cool things you can do on playstation like flying climbing jumping and other things and it's just a very addicting game with little challenge perfect for a starter, hope this helps that bull kept me busy for hours just letting it tackle me off the cliff and holding onto it and trying to make me and the bull survive the fall using the jetpack, and to access keep up the good work love the show another fine episode
Hey guys! This is my first time commenting but I watch almost all of the Playstation access videos. Dave was talking about gwent being one of the best card games in a game. I, too, enjoyed playing gwent. My favorite card game in a game is Triple Triad from Final Fantasy VIII. How do you guys feel about Triple Triad?
If you are going to do the "Hinder Olympics", try Ape Curling, which came as a minigame with "Time Splitters - Future Perfect". It is super silly and awesome :D
I miss the Theo Juan club, every time I go back to watch the old videos its just not the same seeing a new one now, still love the channel and loving the new additions like Hollie's livestreams but would love a return of the club (this has nothing to do with the fact that I would've been in as it was on 50 views when I started writing :P )
To BabyRose, I'd suggest Uncharted: The Nathan drake collection. It was my first games on PS4 too. Great story, amazing characters, pretty basic mechanics for action games and of course, one of the icons of playstation, Nathan Drake!
So this week’s one-on-onesie returned to normality. That is, with Dave winning. Nothing new, move along. #DaveNationSupremacy Note: this is my favourite weekly feature from PlayStation Access. Keep up with the good work guys. Cheers!
When the four of you are playing together I always root for Nathan to win because I like him, but in One-on-Onesie I'd rather he lose because he looks hot in the onesie.
+BabyRose should watch rob's last friday feature "7 misconceptions about video games" He suggests some good ones, but if you want something easy to learn, easy to play and helps develope your gaming skills. I suggest Bro Force: Side scrolling action game that removes all the stress of dying with quick restarts and also dying is hilarious but it also gradually develops your muscle memory of the controller as you become better to beat levels. There is no progression system either which means you can take your time and learn without worry. Journey: It's critically acclaimed and super easy to play, plus you can't die for most of the game so you get time to play around. It's important for learning to control characters from a third person perspective. Abzu: like journey but with water and a blue whale Knack: great to play with someone and it has a low difficulty curve. Since the game has mostlt fixed cameras, you spend more attention platforming in a 3d environment and training your muscle memory to remember combos Ultimate Chicken Horse: Teaches platforming skill AND you make the difficulty which is an excellent way of pushing yourself while not over straining yourself. Bully: Rockstar ps2 classic that's easy to pick up and an excellent opener to open world adventures. Worms battleground: teaches excellent reaction and planning skills before going full real time RPG Any walking simulator or first person story adventure(Firewatch, everybody's gone to the rapture): It's much easier to learn how to control a character in 3D space when not being shot at. Broken Age: point an click adventure helps to highten your problem solving skills and tests your sensory memory skills - this is excellent to play before jumping on stealth games like MGS5 where remembering layouts and knowing environmental reactions is important to know in a short amount of time. Any turn based RPG: These games work like card games in that only the turn player makes a move and it's an excellent method of honing your understanding of classic gaming mechanics that you'll see repeated in almost every other game. Mechanics like health bars, stamina, magic, inventory management, elements, damage types, etc. Portal: Funny how a puzzle platformer makes an excellent introduction into the first person shooter genre. Entwined: Simple, teaches you how to move the analogs independently from each other in real time. You know, if you ever tried piano and tried to play independent melodies wih both hands, it's like that but not as hard. Everything: This is an excellent game for philosophy, but also just to experience free movement in a nonsensical environment. LittleBigPlanet3: 4 player platforming that can test your abilities with the controller in all sorts of ways from sixaxis control, fixed camera aiming, and button timing(i.e: pressing x super fast makes sackboy do a little hop, but holding x makes him leap high and learning button timing is a valued skill set in most shooters, action adventures and platformers.
BabyRose if you like watching South Park would strongly suggest The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole, they're basically 20 hour long episodes where you are the star and the stories are great :D
When I bought my PS4 it was bundled with (amongst other things) Uncharted 4 I haven't played the first 3 and so maybe I didn't understand some inside jokes, but man what a blast that is Other than that, Life is Strange is absolutely beautiful and worth a second or even third playthrough. Furthermore I'd recommend Horizon Zero Dawn, my personal GOTY '17, not only because it is an amazing game everyone should've played but also because I love the story. Although it takes a long time to actually finish it, which might be a downer for a new player
Two on Tutu. You know the punishment
Genius! Perfect follow up to One on Onesie
Brilliant
Yes. Make it so!
I once had a dream about Dave and Rob squeezed into one piece of clothing, but let's not talk about that...
kieran priest yessssss!!!
ROB EMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!
#RobEmpire
Rempire?
EmpeRob?
Emperor Pearson
the ROBpublic
I'm more of a Robrepublic kind of person.
#robpublic?
C'mon, clearly the best name for Nathan's fans is The Ditumites.
AK Minds
This is an underrated comment, let this be seen by PlayStation access.
To BabyRose, I'd definitely suggest Firewatch. Truly beautiful and affecting story-based game.
Also "Brothers" A Tale of Two Sons". It fits into there.
That's on my list of Must-Play... right after The Last Guardian
Came in here to do just that. Cheers!
K May I agree on FF X the story is really quite special in that game and in my opinion has the best summons.
I love how Dave has to constantly keep saying how close it is to Nathan so he doesn't bursting out with a temper tantrum
Anyone suggested "UnitedNathans" yet?
Robpublic!
Baby Rose should play Until Dawn. There’s lovely story elements and the QTE events can help a newer gamer get to know the placements of the buttons on the controller. There’s also some moving around sections that will teach navigation.
Nathan's saltiness is why he's my favorite.
There are 2 guys at work called David at work, and in my head I hear Nath shout "DAVID, DAVID!" in the One on Onesie intro, damn it.
I have to announce my stand with NationDitum. I love the Witcher 3, but I avoid Gwent like the plague.
‘Down’ for that Duck game. Public appreciation of Dave’s puns here.
BabyRose: Try "The Last Of Us"...its a PS Exclusive and it is one the best stories out there! It might be challenging for a new gamer, but the story will make you go trough...pretty sure!
The 2 vs 2 tournaments should be named "Doosie of a Twosie"
It's fantastic to watch Nathan play and makes me feel better about myself. I am the same kind of player when it comes to versus games, it's never our fault when we loose 🤣 "I was behind the log", "how much rock do you have", and my all-time favourite: "I WAS BLOCKING!". 4:38 Nath is asking the real questions
16:42 Lol
301 club for the first time!!! Why is it over now?! :'c can we at least get the jingle? I loved it.
My god, Dave has found his Olympic sport I think.
Robnation>>>Davenation
kinda feel Davenation and NationDitum are fighting over the second/third place tie because they and everyone else know that Robnation took home the gold, no contest.
The Robpublic is where it's at.
Sadly I can no longer watch Access Granted because Nathan has refused to wear the Onesie too many times and it is infuriating because dave is too nice to force you to wear it when you lose.

#301clubmf
Yeah but he's wearing it now!
Then don't stress over it just tease him in comments or twitter! His a good lad with a sense of humour. Not to mention he does acknowledge when his been a pillock.
LuvTheSnapper, mate, there's no need for sexist comments to make your point.
EDIT: The comment's been deleted.
It's been like twice! I plead clemency your honour.
Hi Dave and Nathan - Another great video and for BabyRose I'd certainly suggest picking up some point and click/puzzle games, maybe even a couple of JRPGs :) the best ones I can think of off the top of my head -
Broken Sword 5 (if you've played the first ones that is), Grim Fandango Remastered, Any of the Telltale series like Nathan said (the narratives are so compelling but I suggest being prepared to feel like a bad human being!) and for me Final Fantasy as a series is as story driven as it comes so take your pick of the ones available :)
As for a Lets Play I've been thinking long and hard and have come up with you guys battling it out in a King of the Ring style Access tournament on a WWE 2K game but with a twist - 3 roulette wheels determining what you choose as a wrestler so it would be weight class, the show they are on and the 3rd wheel to decide on the match type you end up on, also on the wheels I'd put a dud choice where the unlucky person who lands on it has to use the superstar with the lowest stats and a special choice for the superstar with the highest stats so no free choices from the start.
I think Nath would probably win this because after all he is the ruler of the Nation of Ditumation :)
The Order 1886 for Baby Rose. Great story, easy to get control of, not to long, gorgeous graphics and I think it is on sale at the moment.
I'm gutted there won't be a sequel, I enjoyed it.
well, maybe if they put more effort into the story (that spoils itself in the opening cutscene) or made it long enough to justify the initial cost, they could've made a sequel. can't blame anyone but themselves
Matt Brown I think the length is good and the story is fantastic. It doesn't give it away at the beginning. It isn't obvious.
Love Nathan's Tigger hoodie at end.
The only good thing about Nathan iiiiiiiis, he's the only one. He's.... The only one.
#301club - if you guys are still doing 301 club! Would just like to say how much I love the channel and also what happened to Gary Fist? :P Also kudos to Hollie for her scary play through - admire that bravery!

I love salty Nath. It's hilarious. Keep up the good work lads!✌ This is a peace sign by the way Dave 😜
Nah nah nah! Nathan, you should call your nation Nathion - with a Spanish accent. Then we could all call ourselves Nathions or somet.
You must play Gwent......for the Onesie challenge
AXII Sign 🤙

Hey guys :) One on Onesie game suggestions Everybody’s Golf, Worms, Injustice 1 or 2 and Star Wars battlefront.

They're really fun, and it also would nice to your response and thoughts about the game's gravity manipulation system.

To Babyrose you can't go wrong with the Nathan drake collection
Can you guys make a montage of Nathan's anger moments.
Just watch every one on onesie...
more of a hollie nation
I think I speak for everyone when I say that we would love to watch the two of you take on a difficult monster from Monster Hunter World. Even though it's not 1v1 I can already hear the anger between the two of you
Should definitely play speed runners 4 player on the channel if you haven't already !!
It took this long and it's not even a thing anymore "cring" but hey I finally made the 301... Yey me.
Crash Bandicoot remaster for a new gamer! Kingdom Hearts remakes would be excellent as well.
C'mon, it's gotta be Nathstation Access!!
We need more Dan on the channel! Your all great but not enough Dan!
Early pledge of allegiance to #301DanNations
They talked about KH3! I'm allowed to make a Disney joke.
If you are going to do the "Hinder Olympics", try Ape Curling, which came as a minigame with "Time Splitters - Future Perfect". It is super silly and awesome :D
15:45 AND GRAND KINGDOM!!!!

David!....DAVID!!...
NathanStation is the last stop before #DaveNation
Hi Nath. Please let me know what you think of Night in the Woods. It was my favourite game last year 🕹🙂
This game looks so much like a flash game from a long, long time ago. I think it was called 'mana mana' or something.
I really hope you get to do 2 on 2 VIDEOBALL!
To BabyRose, I'd suggest Uncharted: The Nathan drake collection. It was my first games on PS4 too. Great story, amazing characters, pretty basic mechanics for action games and of course, one of the icons of playstation, Nathan Drake!
Alien Isolation definitely should be your next Let’s Play, also...#NationDitum
Unravel as game to start off with.
What is the pole vaulting 2D game they play in the intro???
So this week’s one-on-onesie returned to normality. That is, with Dave winning. Nothing new, move along.
#DaveNationSupremacy
Note: this is my favourite weekly feature from PlayStation Access. Keep up with the good work guys. Cheers!

When the four of you are playing together I always root for Nathan to win because I like him, but in One-on-Onesie I'd rather he lose because he looks hot in the onesie.
Duck game? He’s DOWN for that. I see what you did there.
#DaveNation has rebelled against the #DitumDictatorship
For baby rose, firewatch or inside would be good. They are both excellent games that are quite easy to place and also pretty cheap nowdays.
+BabyRose should watch rob's last friday feature "7 misconceptions about video games" He suggests some good ones, but if you want something easy to learn, easy to play and helps develope your gaming skills. I suggest
Bro Force: Side scrolling action game that removes all the stress of dying with quick restarts and also dying is hilarious but it also gradually develops your muscle memory of the controller as you become better to beat levels. There is no progression system either which means you can take your time and learn without worry.
Journey: It's critically acclaimed and super easy to play, plus you can't die for most of the game so you get time to play around. It's important for learning to control characters from a third person perspective.
Abzu: like journey but with water and a blue whale
Knack: great to play with someone and it has a low difficulty curve. Since the game has mostlt fixed cameras, you spend more attention platforming in a 3d environment and training your muscle memory to remember combos
Ultimate Chicken Horse: Teaches platforming skill AND you make the difficulty which is an excellent way of pushing yourself while not over straining yourself.
Bully: Rockstar ps2 classic that's easy to pick up and an excellent opener to open world adventures.
Worms battleground: teaches excellent reaction and planning skills before going full real time RPG
Any walking simulator or first person story adventure(Firewatch, everybody's gone to the rapture): It's much easier to learn how to control a character in 3D space when not being shot at.
What is meant by "he's gamed it"? From Nathan to Dave?
To babyrose firewatch is a good shout I'd also say abzu maybe shadow of the colossus
Nope, sorry Nath, I'm sticky with #Nathanation
RobEmpire & HollieLand & DanDynasty
Why don’t you have a Delson onsie instead of that bright orange one
I just came to praise Lord Rob, nice video though guys.
BabyRose if you like watching South Park would strongly suggest The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole, they're basically 20 hour long episodes where you are the star and the stories are great :D
Woot! 301 Club! First time. I love you guys!
When I bought my PS4 it was bundled with (amongst other things) Uncharted 4
I haven't played the first 3 and so maybe I didn't understand some inside jokes, but man what a blast that is
Other than that, Life is Strange is absolutely beautiful and worth a second or even third playthrough.
Furthermore I'd recommend Horizon Zero Dawn, my personal GOTY '17, not only because it is an amazing game everyone should've played but also because I love the story. Although it takes a long time to actually finish it, which might be a downer for a new player
