I really love those white strappy, sling-back, mid-heel, sandals you wear with the black dress. Too bad they’re no longer available! (The “similars” won’t work for me). I got two nice, similar-style pairs this summer, one in true white and one in ivory, but these are even prettier! Could you tell me what brand yours are from? I’d like to check it out for other shoes, it’s probably a UK brand we Americans don’t get much exposure to. These are my idea of “heels”, under 3 inches, as high as I can go. Thanks, Sansha.
Hi Kimberley! Mine are from a Canadian brand called L’Intervalle - I got them last season but I believe they have similar styles this season. And all their shoes are leather, which I prefer🤗❤️
I love wearing one of my silk dresses for most special occasions, but summers really too hot for that fabric where I live, unless the event starts well after sundown. For daytime I wear a linen dress or skirt/top set in summer (I have a real overheating problem), but linen seems too casual and daytime-only for evening parties. Also, if I’m going to a more formal occasion, I don’t want to look wrinkled. I suppose I would have to wear one of my more bare, silk tank dresses and hope there is AC where I’m going.
