Very interesting topics. I am interested how plants uptake nutrient substances from soil through plant root systems contained rhizosphere soil. Some suggested that various microbes exist in the rhizosphere soil, and viscosicus substances from plant root elute neutient substances from the soil by converting it into the morphologic compounds which can be easily taken into plan bodies. Thank you!

Thank you for this video. Very interesting. It's crazy how I came across your video. I've been doing Keto and was looking into the Carnivore diet and my research led me here. I was curious how the carnivore diet acts as an elimination diet so you can reintroduce plant based foods into your diet and heal, lose weight, etc. So interesting. Never knew what a metabolite was before tonight. Lol.

hydroponic plants will make some secondary metabolites, but since they have a much more constrained nutritional pool (lacking soil), they will not be able to make many of the secondary metabolites.
