Thank you for the video. I am trying to work up the courage to walk out there but I am 75 and so I should stay on shore and fish from the beach. I have never fished in the surf or off the jetty so I am a newbie. Love the videos and only live about 25 miles away from Westport or Ocean Shores and going to try my luck. Looks like so much fun.
Ron McKinney surf perch from shore would be good option. Lots of instructional videos on RUclips. Just wait for a calm day and give it a go. The jetty can be dangerous, even for the young guys.
@@arvinoreiro7206 go out as far as you can. I don't like hiking the rocks, so I don't go very far out. The further you go, the better the fishing gets...but the rocks also get more dangerous out there. Other than that, it's timing. I caught both of those fish back to back, at high slack tide. No bites before or after. So try to time it so you're there for slack tide. I prefer high slack.
I was at the jetty yesterday 3/28 from 7:30 to 11am and got skunked. Not even any nibbles. Used grubs, shrimp, anchovies and herring. Nothing. I was at the first green buoy. Is that far enough, or do I need to go farther out?
Does this jetty produce limits of fish at anytime? The jetty I fish in northwest Oregon is going to be shut down for 3-5 years beginning soon for construction. Looking to expand my horizons...
would rather hear some kind of narration than whatever that background sound was...
😂😂😂😂😂
Are you living in a video game? Aint no noise like this in nature anywhere. Out.
Awesome! I go out in my little boat here in Oregon and fish for lings and bass. You got yourself a new subscriber here.
Nice work! I was out there as well and had a great time for this year’s opener!

I couldn't finish the video cause the music is absolutely horrible
Worst ever.
Going out first weekend of April! Maybe catch you out there?
Man one day I'll land a jetty fish! Doesn't even matter what species to me!
Thought it was you. I was 5 people away from you on you left. That wind was cold too.
arvin oreiro if you see me again, come say hi!
How was the fishing for you?
Didn’t do that great brother. My first time out in the jetty. Tips would be awesome to get these buggers

If you haven't eaten Lingcod you should. It tastes like Sweet Chicken but of the Sea.
I only subscribed, because I fish to the same music! 😂👍🏽
great video man! really enjoyed this one! subscribed :) keep it up! cheers
This music is on drug.
Are you saying Michael Jackson was on drugs??? ;-)

That's far enough. Some days it just wasn't meant to be. I skunk more often than I care to admit. LOL

Got limits of bass and only one ling last year, would live greenling work?
YES!!!!!!!
Gotta turn the sound down here with this horrible music.. Good filming though
I would add to others, ditch Michael Jackson and narrate your stuff.
