Jon Stewart, Colbert and Conan get along well, they tend to make a guest appearances on each other's show back then too. Look it up, it's pretty entertaining stuff.
Yeah similar to what Max is saying; if you haven't already seen it, nearly 10 years ago, Colbert, Conan, and Jon Stewart were all part of this convoluted night show v. night show 3-way that took place on all three of their shows during the WGA Strike, and ended with a 3-way brawl between the three men. It's still pretty entertaining, I'd recommend the google search

Finally Conan gets the recognition he deserves for doing these shorts in other countries. And, knowing that they're both late night talk show hosts, they were very respectful towards one another without awkwardness. It's nice to see things right in the world.

Actually, you could say Conan's set foot in eight countries. When he was on his South Korea tour, he visited the DMZ, went into a building that straddled the border between the two Koreas, and stepped over the official border.
I think Conan is one of the most genuine and humble people in showbiz. See Louis CK's stony regarding his experience working with Conan.
Just to clarify, Conan didn't STEAL the traveling-late-night-show-host idea, he blazed the trail. And he's such a natural on his travel shows and other remotes, so in his element, that really, he should do a travel show full time when he leaves late night.

Anyone is better than Fallon. I like Kimmel, he's quick and witty, so is Corden (and like his show because of the format of more guests at the same time. Graham Norton is also extremely good. Colbert can be sometimes too political. Not that I mind so much but it makes the show a little less watchable for non-Americans
Michal Motyčka perfect analysis, each one of them has their own style and some different things that they do and are enjoyable to watch (well except Fallon, he just seems boring anymore)
Michal Motyčka Colbert's polical satire is at it's best and Kimmel is catching up fast lately. I'm from South East Asia and I enjoyed Colbert's monologues the most as his comedic timing is always on point and his jokes are so funny.

Conan is a titan of brilliant original ideas when it comes to comedy sketches. So many people have borrowed or copied straight from him and his show. It's good Colbert kind of acknowledges this.
The problem is that how Americans view the world and how the world really is are two completely different things.
Part of it have to do with culture of ignorant that's well accepted in America. That also breed a lot of things including racism over there.
The culture of willful ignorance extends well beyond the US borders.
The Rest of the World is a quaint little theme park Disney created for American tourists.
Also what I think RUclips commenters think of American's thinking about what the rest of the world thinks about them are three different things.

It seems to me that the comment section is split up between Conan fans and Colbert fans ^^ a lot of Conan fans are saying it's cringeworthy or that Stephen was being an "asshole", while Stephen fans are being very insulting back. From my point of view it seems like both of them were having a good time. i don't get why people feel a need for pitting them against eachother, and view every meeting they have, as a confrontation between the two. They're old friends ^^
Same here, pal. I love them both and I don't understand people spreading the hate. I agree that it seems a bit uncomfortable, but I think that is because a) Conan isn't used to the environment and doesn't do things like this a lot, b) that's the second taping of the day so Stephen must be tired and c) Stephen just let Conan do his thing and didn't want to interrupt him unneccesarily. The format is a bit different than usual, but Conan is such a energetic, charasmatic person that naturally Stephen had to take a step back and just let him talk, which he probably isn't used to as well. Why people have to hate on either one of them just confuses me.
