You're tearing it down? That's devastating :( I was just about to comment some advice I had thought of to keep this ecosystem thriving. Though if anyone is interested, here is what I thought of. As you can probably see, most people are asking for this to become a series in a shed or greenhouse, and I think that idea would be perfect, especially to help with some of my ideas; One of the first things I noticed was that Jay planted a tree in the corner of the room. Now this is really great for the creatures, but my first thought about this was something I read about a year ago. Some scientists created a completely enclosed, artificial environment called Biosphere 2 and made one mistake that caused all the trees to fall down before maturation: there was no wind so trees failed to develop stress wood, which is necessary for them to stand. There are some other theories on why Biosphere 2 failed, but this got me thinking, what if you found a way to recreate weather cycles? There is another youtuber I watch called Dr. Plants, and he creates terrariums. Within one of his more recent videos about creating a desert terrarium (link: ruclips.net/video/wir7jmefyec/видео.html ) he installs a device to simulate a storm. That got me thinking, if Jay could find a way to do this, that would benefit the entire ecosystem, it would strengthen the trees so they could create stress wood and strengthen their roots, plus refresh the ecosystem entirely. Of course, this would not be an option within a room in Jay's house on the second story. But if Jay was to recreate this, in say, a greenhouse or a shed, it would be the perfect place to install a proper weather simulator & include a drainage system. Another note was simply that within the pond, if Jay intended to have actual animals (like Craig, Pascal and the crickets) interacting with it (drinking from it, swimming in it), then it would probably be best to include a filtration system. Even a cheap one off Amazon, like one you would see in a fish tank. Unless of course, he intended to make the pond an ecosystem of its own 👀. Though that would take countless hours and take away from the overall room. But with a filtration system, it would stop the water from sitting still all day and creating an environment for festering bacteria and such. (Also creating an easier way for the animals to climb out instead of just having a plastic surface and some dangling moss would prevent any animals on the less intelligent side from drowning). My final note was that Craig is, in fact, a tree frog, as you all know. This means that he naturally lives in trees. Tree frogs interact with ponds and water yes, but had you left him in there for another few days, most likely he would have gravitated to the tree and possibly had a conflict with Pascal. I don't know all that much about tree frogs and anoles, but it is possible they could get territorial. Essentially, Craig probably would need a tree of his own to live in. If Jay did happen to upgrade the ecosystem, then perhaps even introducing some friends for Craig and Pascal could be cute? Anyway, if anyone actually bothered to read this, thank you! Keeping in mind I'm not an expert, feel free to correct me and I will edit my comment. I hope dearly Jay takes all the comments into consideration and maybe creates a bigger version of this ecosystem? Regardless, have a great day lovelies
I would like to also add on to this sort of that he got the ecosytem for the actual animals, like you sort of mentioned, completely wrong. Tree frogs are arboreal species, and they need actual trees and specific tropical plants to hide in. You also mentioned a pond filtration system, which is a great idea, but you cant have a cheap filtration system for a pond that size. Its going to run you a few hundred bucks, and it needs constant care, and you need to make sure to keep all of the beneficial bacteria. If he does this again, he should introduce plants more native to the climates and regions in which the animals he introduce live in. Either way you made some great points all of which would be helpful if he did something like this in the future.

Loved this video, legit kinda want to experience it too. Lizards and frogs are my favorite reptiles.
Jay,
RUclips is so shit at the moment and you’re genuinely making content that’s re-energising the whole scene. These videos are so so so entertaining, please keep them coming!
I look forward to the next creative/wacky/eccentric video
The fact I’ve grown up with jay doing rainbow milk challenges and now he’s still consistently leveling up his content is truly amazing!
will jay keep pascel and craig or will he just sel lthem
Those videos were so sick😂
This guy purposefully creates a habitat inside his house for insects while the rest of us do everything we can to get rid of invasive bugs like cockroaches, bed bugs, ants and spiders.
Bro this would be an amazing documentary!!!
Jay, your content lately is absolutely banger. Keep being yourself man, and keep doing what you enjoy. It’s nice seeing you do things that genuinely makes you happy.
thankyou so much man❤
from tgf to being your own person with the funny and excited side, to showing us how much time spent into research and brilliant ideas amazes me especially to your such considerate and caring side you have to the animals and the room itself is outstanding keep it up jay I love this side!
Such a gem of a video
This seems so genius and psychotic at the same time.
Started studying wildlife conservation last year. To see one of my favourite RUclipsrs go into the topic has really fueled my interest in the subject. Thanks jay.
Turn your office into an aquarium
This is the Type of content im looking for , please make this a series :-)
You built my dream, that was incredible, would love to see what you would do with a communal of balfori tarantulas
These projects are so unique, and its been so cool to see you nerding out on things that you are passionate about - enjoying yourself when filming is half the battle to great content. Keep it up Jay!
seeing jay in his element is sick hes consistently putting out bangers and seems to be enjoying himself and thats the most important thing love the content bro and love the creativity 🙏
please dont take it down!! I would love to watch weekly updates!!
Instant subscription for not being clickbait
jay, been watching you for years now, and to see this high quality of video/s is insane, you’ve levelled up immensely and appreciate what you do for all of us on here ❤️
Please keep it dude it’s awesome
'Yeah, this wasn't clickbait' - Unusual statement here on youtube. Great video.
I’ve never commented on a RUclips video in my life, but this is the time. I’ve been following tgf for years now and have always been inspired by there content. But more specifically Jay. He’s really stepped up the creativity with his videos these past few weeks and find it very inspiring, every time I watch a video I wonder, how could I live a life like Jay’s?
Keep it going!
I love how engaged you are with us your community. It feels like you’re creating content for us but also for your enjoyment and I’m all for it. Keep it up you beast 🔥
This felt like a little documentary about how humans got here but we're past the reptile upgrade 😂
i think a long term version of this would be cool to see, and a slightly larger animal variety
This new content that you’re pushing out is crazy. I am enjoying every upload. If you had a consistent upload schedule then I see your channel growing exponentially past TGFBro
love how reliable Jay is with zero clickbait
Don’t take it down bro this is incredible
This is sick. He loves it more than he thinks too! Should defo get a greenhouse and turn it into a bit terrarium and do a series. I’d defo watch it!
Original and unique content like this is by far the best on youtube. Especially when Jay does it❤
will jay keep pascel and craig or will he just sel lthem
Seeing Jay be so happy over his hard work in videos just fills me with such happiness. He really loves what he does and it's such a treat to watch every upload with some snacks and prepared to have a good time. Thanks for all the years of entertainment Jay, we all value it ❤
Imagine loads of rescue reptiles just chilling in here like🥹🫶🏻
This feels like a whole Phineas & Ferb episode
in case you didn't know, the reason your shots look like they are from a nature documentary is because this is how they do it too! almost all shots in documentaries of insects and small animals are done in specifically made sets
mind shattering information. im crying my eyes out from this revelation.
Jay , thanks for keeping the content going . You’re truly awesome.
The good old Tgfbro
1:45 casually breaks a telephone line 😭
this was the absolute coolest nature documentary i’ve ever watched 😂
"in meh hows" got me rollen
Incredible video, however maybe adding a glass panel in the door so you could peer through when walking past?
