Mary is beautiful. She most recently was on the last season of Grace and Frankie and she just exudes class.
You can tell he was clearly about to cry just from talking about his wife. Very nice, I love it.
She is one of the best tv/cinema moms ever
"He's a doofus--now I'm interested!" Omg I love that!! This video almost made me cry a little. I love them both separately and even more as a couple!
Elizabeth Scott same. I think MS should give a class on relationship advice
What a privilege to find such a love in the age of more reason.
what a nice bloke...genuine..very rare ...hugs to him and his wife ..from Down Under..
didn’t he do blackface?
@@nevehs6288 Yes they mention it in this video, friar's club.
Who wouldn't fall for Mary Steenburgen?
thetramp123 I know a guy.
Elton John probably wouldn't...
I don't get it. She must have something. Jack Nicholson hired her for her first job & her first husband was Malcom MacDowell.
Mikey saw right through her.
I KNOOWW, I loved her in Back to the Future!
When Ted and Mary got divorced on Curb Your Enthusiasm, I thought it was because they were separated or divorcing in real life and couldn't/didn't want to portray a loving couple on-screen anymore. I was relieved to find out that it was written to allow Ted to date Cheryl.
2:54 If only I'd known when I was much younger the goldmine that being an unfiltered doofus is. Better late than never though - the first time I met the lovely lady who is now my wife was about 14 years ago, when she walked up behind me, gently placed a hand on my shoulder and whispered.... "you missed a belt loop".
Green Morning Dragon Productions I love it❤️
That’s awesome!
Yes, many of us women love guys just being their authentic selves. The excess peacocking I’ve sometimes seen, is a turn off. I like real, open, secure in self, self deprecating at times!
The movie ‘Hitch’ captures this too! The women fall in love with the dorkiness, not the uber polished, pretense!
That is so sweet. Doofuses are the cutest ones.
Mary Steenburgen is gorgeous.
Looking forward to the full interview, cheers for the clip!
They actually also played alongside each other in "Bored to Death". Didn't know there where a couple in real-life. Definitely explains the chemistry the two have in front of the camera :)
Well what an enormously pleasant interview!
Good looking guys that are actually nerdy, or a “doofus” as Ted says are far more interesting- because they usually aren’t arrogant and shallow.
I actually fell for my now husband when I realized he was a “doofus”..... been in love with him ever since ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this so much. What a beautiful conversation!
We are All SO Grateful for the Ted + Sam Malone and for Ted + finding his future Path and Purpose
So you're saying there was something about Mary?
Riptide Monzarc 😂🤣😂🤣👍
Yep yep!!
Yeoooooooo!
Damn...I should have thought of that...
🏆
Ted reminds me of a man who paints poetry and it is deep and full of what if's. I swear to God I wrote the first half of this post before I heard him say it smh.
Ted Danson acting in Becker was great to watch a craftsman spin his nuanced comedy into brilliant entertainment.
Ozzyogo I like Ted in Becker
Good actor and he made this dinner come alive with the co stars...but when he entered his presence was huge
Omg! I love Becker! It’s on cable most nights, and I record it every night, just watching them over and over. Ted is fantastic in the television show. The episode that Mary is in just floors me!
I started to paint for my self discovery - A Man.
I had a big crush on Mary back in the 80's.
Dax, Kirsten and Ted are so much more interesting like themself than in any rol that the play! They should make a tv show where they are themself!!
Love it!
Fantastic!!!!
My family took a little fishing trip to beautiful Heber Springs, Arkansas. On our last day we stopped at a charming, little fruit stand for snacks and souvenirs. There on the wall was a signed photo of Mary and Ted. They are just nice people, Mary especially.
Arkansas sure is proud of our girl!
Thank you.
Very beautiful couple!
If anyone has ever wondered what true happiness is 2:10 - 2:13 is it.
Mary S., Andi McDowell, and Diane Keaton all share some purity of soul as actresses.
My three favourites now I know why they are my faves.
Fantatic!!!!
This guy is incredible on Curb
Love him in “The Good Place”
Glad for t hem both
I only looked at beautiful woman in the periphery - that’s a George Constanza thing to say.
Charlie says . 'ghouls"
I like that
Sam is a celeb whisperer 🌚
Lovely ❤️
Happy birthday ted from italian boy live in rome
He must be something remember she was married beautiful Alex in Clockwork Orange
I like her with film the proposal.. She is impressive
This is so so so beautiful
He was good In Body Heat.
Ted Danson is still sooooo handsome
They were both in the movie Living With the Dead. Not sure if that's when they met though.
When u stop looking for love finds u-)
He met Mary on the set of Pontiac Moon, my wife met Mario Simon, the transportation director for that movie at the same time. Ted found his new wife and I found my new ex-wife.
Great story!
I want the TED DANSON PLANE
So cute about him being a doofus
Really thoughtful interview, but I bet he got way more tail in his younger days than he lets on. Handsome tv star of the '80s; they were probably on him like flies.
I remember being so happy for Ted when he started dating Mary... she really is a light bulb.
Bring back cheers and Becker
#teddansongoals
It's sounds like they are meant to be together, but how Mary can look at anyone, after having Alex in a Clockwork Orange I don't know.
Gilbert grape
I thought that Ted was great
Mr Danson was good as Sam Malone, but he was great in Becker - all time favorit
Glad he finally came to his senses about Whoopi Goldberg. Jeez, man.
Sam. You come on too strong. Just let them talk more
He had dated Whoopi Goldberg for a couple years and then they broke up and he met MARY Steenbergen and they dated for a year then they got married. I kept wondering, geez, he dated Whoopi and then met Mary and boom: all of a sudden they were soo deep in love and got married. I just wondered if he dated Whoopi to experiment?!?
I never knew Whoopi goldberg and Ted had a relationship I am just now finding out. I do believe Ted Danson showed love differently.
Hollywood star, married at 38 to a woman only 4 years younger than him, happily married for 30 years -- not something you see every day
Doofus 💛
She was drawn to his imperfection..hm..
This is very hard to believe, the way Ted fell for Larry's ex-wife Cheryl David. Seriously, man. Are you kidding us?
And besides, what's not to like about Mrs. Melvin Dumar!?!
Jamie Jobb x
What a pos. He left first wife & Child(ren) to move in with Whoopi Goldberg (ugh)! He eventually married Mary steenburgen who is a long time friend of the wonderful Clinton’s. No wonder he’s always working with those connections. I’d never watch him. He sickens me.
I think he's pronouncing his wife's name wrong. I'm pretty sure it's a hard "g"
Yes, she herself pronounces it like that too. There's no real equivalent in English, you say it from the throat. But the G from 'go' would be closer than zj yes
I've never been in a relationship where I felt the need to introduce my significant other with both her first and surname. Is this product placement?
It would take a man like you not to understand that a married woman with her own surname as an actor might want to be identified as such in an interview.
@@yourmajesty3569 I never introduced myself but why did you assume I was a man?
@@philiscoolerthanu See explaination from A Kat. They nailed every reason we ascertain your sex.
I assume because she is a public figure and this is an interview... If he just says Mary people may not now who he meant, but if he refers her as Mary Steenburgen people would know her and understand the whole context. People usually do this (addressing people with their full names) in interviews, no matter who they talk about.
@@philiscoolerthanu maybe that most people are straight, you say SO for a her, male name in username, and really geeky computer help channel. And being clueless about social relationship related subject-matter. Stick to the tech advice nerd 😜
Funny story because I’ve never liked Ted Danson because he’s always been the snotty, snobby,Hollywood Celebrity. Over confident, look at ME,look at ME type of guy.
It's all fun and games until she gets bored and blows your friend.
You wouldn't happen to be bored, would you?
