Nevada state patrol did it best… move them quick and without much warning. Just tell them to move and then move them. They need to make a statement… this is not a peaceful protest and will not be tolerated. I think that incident you're talking about wasn't the Nevada State police it was an indigenous reservation tribe handling business. The reservations have slightly more antinomy to enforce rules like that.

ehh I somewhat agree with you even if I dislike this type of protest (backfires and makes more negative opinion of protestors and their message imo), but don't think these are publicized at all, and from the amount of traffic building up both ways I don't think anyone got such a memo. I live here and wouldn't even have known til I was caught in standstill traffic or heard it on the news.
People are dying the world over for a multitude of reasons. You need to be consistent if this is your reasoning. You are likely a useful idiot or a terrorist sympathizer. You will lose.
