I've been there and everything about that place is stunning, even the sunlight! I liked this video, but the last sentence of narration is in error: Monaco is a principality, not a kingdom.
Nice video and interesting story about this Palace 🇮🇩
Fascinating history and insights into the architectural evolution of Monaco.
Thank you so much for keeping adding videos about palaces! These are incredible videos and really entertaining
You know, the palace is literally the Prince’s only residence in the country, because there’s not a lot of land for more residences. Instead, they just kept expanding on their palace over the centuries. Since it’s a working palace, it’s also the seat of power, and there’s always sentries on duty.
Very informative & enjoyable film! Thank you!
Am wondering if that newly discovered artwork wasn't too pagan for what might be the Catholic sensibilities of the later Royal Family members and/or Monégasque citizens - and maybe that was why it was painted over? The Renaissance was too progressive in many ways, and Monaco is supposed to be a Catholic monarchy.
Would have expected Real Royalty with it's focus to not make such a crude error as putting "HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco" at
Fascinating
The 2 Fortress that's no longer there, would be best served nowadays as a Missle Launching Castle 🏰
The principality is over 700 years old. There is no miracle, apart from the idyllic setting , but hard work , in order for it to survive ❤
We went to monaco about 18yrs ago it was wonderful,we have all the photos, their was a wedding on the side of the street not far from the principality it was wonderful standing watching it
Fantastic subject , so interesting, many thanks 🙏🏻 💕💐
Had I married Prince Ranier I would have explored every nook and cranny in my spare time...Looking for secret doors, passages, and book shelves...I'm surprised the children didn't explore, but from what I've read, they were on a very tight leash...not a very pleasing childhood.
Very interesting 👌
Alberta's morals certainly are not "princely". They are very common.
Fantastic video full of historical surprises! I wish I had known this before I toured the palace 16 years ago. I did not know what I was looking at. Monaco is a treasure!!!!
Fascinating! I always enjoy history and Monaco especially. I know so little.
Well done ! I learned quiet a lot and enjoyed every minute
