- Detroit is listed as the most violent city in America by several sources from crime stats. Fiskhorn is Detroit's most violent neighborhood by crime stats. Fiskhorn lists 191% more violent crime per 100,000 than the city of Detroit. Take a drive through this neighborhood. This neighborhood is SW of Greenfield and W. Chicago Ave. in Detroit.

I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and these are one of the best places I've ever seen. If it was here, it would be so expensive to live in that only millionares would be able to afford it. You people have truly no idea what poverty really looks like. Crime statistics from there doesn't even come close to what we have here. This looks like a paradise to me.
It's sad to read this. I've always dreamed of visiting Rio de Janeiro, and Brazil - the Amazon.
Poverty and crime usuallly go hand in hand, and there is so much unfairness in the world's economic system.

@@TREVASLARK For the love of God, don't come to Rio!!!! You're putting yourself in risk if you do. There are other better and safer places in Brazil to visit. If you're looking for cities with beach, night life, etc, I recommend Balneário Camboriú. One of the best, if not the best, travel destinies in Brazil. Been there and can say for sure.

I'm not young, so maybe I will never get the chance, but Rio looks beautiful - in pictures at least. My main desire however is to walk in the Amazon jungle, to see some of the amazing plant and animal life there. Do you know that it has the greatest variety of species on earth ?

@@TREVASLARK I've never been to the amazon jungle - but I know it's safer than Rio haha -, although I've been to some other forests around here. The amazon jungle is really exuberant, but our government doesn't give a crap on preserving it. Deforesting has been a serious issue happening there. What a shame for us
